Highly recommended! I adopted my dog (Kira) few months ago, she is a street rescued dog that was found with 7 pups and a very bad skin disease. When I got her she had really bad separation anxiety (broke all my blinds in day 1 and couldn't stay home alone without whining and barking uncontrollably), scared of dogs, wouldn't walk without trying to run away from everything and wouldn't listen to me. I started training with SamIvy week 2 I had her with me and I am sure that was the best idea I could have had. SamIvy's method is totally different from what I thought dog training was but highly effective. I can definitely say this was a life changer decision for both Kira and I. Our trainer, Thuylinh, was awesome and always kept an eye on us. Trainings are pretty much customized to your and your dog's struggles, every session you'll work and learn how to lead your dog and be an alfa and then you'll have to work on strengthening the lessons, it will all then be up to you, keep in training for success! I can also say... Trust the system! Second session, Kira was being stubborn and wouldn't listen to me, we were only trying to make her "sit", after a big struggle and Thuylinh's guidance on how not to give in, Kira did it and the rest is history. Trusting the system led me to become the "alfa" and that's when Kira started listening to me. After completing the program Kira has now become more confident, she can now stay home alone without problem, she walks properly, replies to obidience commands and listens to me but most importantly she has gained a lot of confidence on her self and is less afraid of things around her. Give yourself and your dog the opportunity of this training method, I assure you won't regret it!!!

I turned to sam ivy as a last resort before having to put my older dog down. That was breaking my heart. She was extremely aggressive with both my other pup and me. this was the hail mary as a family member is moving into my home.we had everything from counter surfing, rushing out the door, jumping, fighting and biting going on - we obviously were put in proper pack behaviors class. my trainer Thuylinh nguyan worked with me dogs to show them the acceptable ways to behave and get along. My girls came through with flying colors . It is now possible to walk them with the leash with out being pulled along. No more hours of barking. no more having the dogs controlling the house. i now have hope that harley will have a long healthy life with me and indian.
