I am over the moon pleased with my Sam Ivy K9 experience. I got my puppy right before the pandemic happened. My dog is basically now a miniature pony - he is a 10 month old Bernedoodle in the 65-75lb range. Being that he is so big, we really struggled with leash walking. He was running the show, not listening to me, pulling me all over the place and jumping around when he didn't get his way...he really did not take to the word "no" either.
I found Sam Ivy by doing a google search. After reading many reviews and doing a lot of research, I reached out for my consultation. Shortly after I called back and booked intermediate leash and obedience training. I was a little nervous doing everything virtually, but our trainer Erica was incredible.
Each session was full of learning and productivity. Nash took to the training so well and life became so much easier! I now feel totally in control of my dog. We have the best walks with no pulling or jumping! He listens to me and respects me...now know how to talk to him in a way he does understand. He graduated not too long ago and we are already considering doing more sessions to continue to train our dog in different skill sets. It was truly so exciting to see him progress and so relieving to finally watch it all click!

Our trainer Gina, with Sam Ivy K 9 Consultants, was great. I decided to do virtual training and loved it. It is a super easy and affordable and I highly recommend. My lessons with Gina provided me with the tools to get my very large dog under control and listening to me.

We recently got a mini goldendoodle and have been wanting him properly trained from day one. We choose sam ivy after we tried a different personal trainer and we were very satisfied with our decision! Freddie was our trainer and he did an amazing job at meeting our needs with flexibility and always being available. It is not often that you see people invested deeply in their work and Freddie is one of those people. I truly believe that Sam Ivy has instilled a quality recruitment policy to pick top notch trainers who understands exactly what your needs are as a dog owner. Within 2 sessions, our dog was much more calm with far less behavioral issues. We are now looking to go to the intermediate and advanced and eventually train him into a service dog as he gets older with Sam Ivy. 100% recommend!

We were desperate to find a solution to Marley's behavior problems. We literally tried everything or so we thought. We were going to send Marley off to puppy boarding training for 1-2 weeks and then at the last minute Ariela Edwards found Sam Ivy K9 Consultants Inc. through a referral from a neighbor. I was skeptical at first because it was advanced on-leach obedience training and it was virtual. Isn't everything now! We decided to give it a try as we were desperate. We met our trainer, Maribel, and she was AMAZING! It turns out the virtual course is better than any in-person or in-home instructor program could ever be. Marley was comfortable in his own surroundings and thrived in his own environment without the distractions of a new person in his space. The programs 3 pillars are simple and extremely effective. We saw results immediately and 14 trainings later Marley is the best version of himself that he could possibly be. Maribel actually trained us, but don't tell anybody, Ha Ha. Thanks to Maribel and Sam Ivy, we are a happy family again that loves every minute we get to spend with Marley.
