These trainers are second to none!!! Honestly, I was a little hesitant to spend money on training that was going to have to be done "virtually" instead of in person due to COVID-19. I can honestly say, it was the best decision I have ever made. I have had many dogs in my life and always take them to professional trainers because a well behaved dog is important to me. Sam Ivy is by far the best I have been to EVEN virtually! Their training philosophy, professionalism, and love for their work really shows. I believe the virtual route of training really helped the bond I have with my dog as well as helped him to understand that I am the alpha NOT the trainer. Madina was the absolute best trainer I have ever worked with. She provided us with not only obedience/behavior training but went above and beyond to give us "real life" tips. She made training fun instead of a chore. We can't wait to start off-leash training with Madina. I highly reccommend this company (especially Madina!!!!). Thank you Madina!

-The expert training shows through, over the days, via the trainer.
MY trainer (lol), Nate was stellar. I'm a seasoned dog/cat owner and KNOW it's WE HUMANS who need the training, the dogs are just along for the ride. I think that's the most important message that's clear... So now it's up to me. With a fabulous, super smart rescue dog like Abigail... if she turns out bad it's MY FAULT.
I thank Nate and SICC for a job well done.

We were looking for a dog trainer and because of the reviews for Sam Ivy we decided to go with them. We are so glad we did! Sadly, we signed up and the pandemic hit. We were able to meet with our trainer Thuylinh (we called her T) only twice in person. The company decided to go with video training which wasn’t ideal for the amount of money we paid. But it worked out for us mostly because T was just a really good trainer. She was super knowledgeable about the behavior of dogs and specifically our dogs.We used prong collars which she showed us the proper way to correct the unwanted behavior. She was also very patient with me trying to get the whole video thing going. Any question or concern I had she had the answer or solution to. We know it’s really about training us to train the dogs. We liked T very much. Our dogs have done so well with the training. Their obedience has greatly improved. We will continue to work with the girls with the training T gave us. I recommend Sam Ivy and specifically T as the trainer. We are so glad we went with Sam Ivy. Pandemic and all.

We worked with Sam Ivy to train our dog to become a Service Dog. Our trainer, Gina was incredible. Our overall experience completely surpassed our expectations. Our dog quickly became well-mannered and picked up on all of his new commands so quick. Gina was patient with us and always answered all of our questions. We looked forward to meeting with her for our weekly sessions, as did our dog. Gina is the absolute best and we miss her already! We have recommended Sam Ivy, as well as Gina to many of our friends and family. We even joked we wanted to get another dog so we could do the trainings again because we enjoyed it that much. 100% recommend.
