We found Sam Ivy through a coworker and was impressed by their online reviews. We were hesitant to start training at first because overall our dog is well-behaved and we were unsure if the cost would be worth it. We were also unsure of how our dog would respond since she isn't a puppy. Well I can confidently say that the training has been worth every penny. We just completed the intermediate on-leash training with trainer Thuylinh and both the program and our trainer exceeded all of our expectations. We decided on training our 3 year old Dalmatian, Jade, because she was very inconsistent; sometimes listening and other times being very stubborn. She was difficult to manage around strangers and other dogs. She also struggled with some jealousy and anxiety with very high highs and low lows. We just had a baby so we wanted to build her confidence in order to avoid any future safety issues. We started the training remote due to Covid with two meetings each week and homework. It's been incredible to see what Jade has learned in such a short period of time. She is so much more consistent. We can now have friends over and feel confident that she will be okay around kids and other dogs. The program was tailored to our dog and the trainer went above and beyond to support us! I can't recommend Sam Ivy enough and hope this review helps others who are unsure. Don't give up on your dog! It's so rewarding to see how far Jade has come.

Outstanding training that met all of our needs. Having 3 large strong dogs, training and control is an absolute must!!!!! Miguel helped build our confidence which now allows us to be the pack Alpha’s and our dogs have shown so much positive change. Sam Ivy Consultants met our expectations and more!!! Ember, Hershey, and Jax now look to us for guidance and decision making. Ember was seeking to be the pack leader and the decision maker for us. After just a couple of sessions her demeanor and attitude totally changed, and she immediately understood her role in the pack. Great training and we are moving up to higher levels to keep up our success !!!

Maribel Pavarini was assigned to me to train me and my 6 month old golden doodle! .
We had a series of in person and virtual sessions, all of which were excellent. The virtual sessions were very effective.
Maribel is very competent, knowledgeable, responsible, and clearly loves dogs!

With a 3 month old puppy who was biting, not listening, and being a “tiny terror”, I was unsure if she was trainable! I was 100% wrong. We started training with Medina in January and saw immediate improvement. I was very hesitant about using the e collar but Madina helped me gain a comfort level and we now use it everyday. We are very thankful for Madina and Sam Ivey!
