I highly recommend Sam Ivy K9 if you have any dog training needs. I rescued my dog Milo in January of 2019. He immediately began to show signs of fear based aggression towards other dogs. He would lunge and bark aggressively at dogs on walks and I had no idea how to handle it. Thankfully I contacted this company and immediately one of the team members came to our home for a free consult.
We were set up with Miguel as our trainer for the intermediate on leash program. Miguel was absolutely amazing! He truly cares about all of the animals he works with and would always answer any questions I had immediately, even if he wasn’t working with us that day. Milo’s aggression has calmed down so much since we started and I am very confident on how to handle him now. It’s an ongoing process, but I am so happy with how far we have come and so thankful for everything Miguel did for us! The skills they teach you will benefit you as a dog owner for life, no matter what kind of dog you have. I highly recommend using Sam Ivy, it is well worth it!

Our trainer Miguel was the sweetest and most understanding, I’m the owner of our dog and I have really bad back and I just had SI Joint Fusion surgery. Miguel helped us train her to pick up thing on the floor and our puppy did it . Miguel is the best trainer , he knows everything about training, he is so sweet to our puppy. I am so grateful that we had Miguel because he totally understood my health issues . I would never leave my puppy with anyone, however, I would leave our puppy with him becoming I trust him and our puppy has a Bond With Miguel... Thank you Sam Ivy and thank you Miguel for being you.

My dog was amazing pre-Sam Ivy training (me? biased? no chance)— but now he’s truly on his way to becoming exceptional. From my first in-home consultation with Sam, to each session with our trainer Deana (who is amazing!!!), my relationship with my pup has improved tenfold in only a few months. With the proper tools and training, I’ve become the “alpha” and our quality of life is so much better! I receive countless compliments on his behavior when we are out and about in Tampa— it’s a wonderful feeling. I’m so grateful for this program and highly recommend to everyone.

We adopted an 80-lb German Shepherd less than a year ago. She attacked our neighbor so we had to reach out to Sam Ivy for help. Sam came and gave us a free consultation and we liked what we heard. We are glad they sent us Alexis to train our dog (and us). Alexis is kind, patient, professional and very knowledgeable. We also love Marley (Alexis' dog) he is adorable!
We could see significant improvement from the first couple of sessions.
Thanks to Alexis, we can have people come to our house again.
After the training, we can take our dog for a walk in public without fear.
