When I contacted Sam Ivy I was in desperate need of help with my 2 year old Rottweiler. She was strong and unruly and at times would show aggression towards my other dog. It was impossible to leave the two of them alone together or take them both on a walk. After completing training I am now able to walk both of them by myself! When we started with Sam Ivy I had my doubts, I never imagined my dogs could be this well trained. Within a few sessions I started to see a big difference and within weeks they were completely new dogs. Before training, taking them out in public was not done very often and now I enjoy bringing them places as it is no longer an embarrassing hassle! If you’re ever looking for a trainer who will completely transform your dog, ask for Blas! His love for them is clear through his work and his dedication to their success is unmatched. My dogs are polar opposites and within our first session Blas was able to read their different temperaments and knew exactly how to work with each of them individually to maximize the outcome. No matter what time of the day he was available to take a call or text with any questions or concerns I had. He went above and beyond what I expected in a dog trainer and really made every session enjoyable. I really can’t recommend him enough! Having just finished the advance off leash program with both my dogs I am very satisfied with the outcome! Sam Ivy and Blas have not only restored order among my dogs but they have also equipped me (and my family) with the knowledge of how to train any additional ones in the future. These trainers are truly amazing! Thank you Sam Ivy and Blas for the incredible service!!

Words cannot explain how amazing Sam Ivy K9 Consultants was to us. My dog got bone cancer and had to have his leg amputated and since the operation became super defensive and a bit aggressive towards larger dogs. He used to go to the park everyday and LOVED big dogs. His aggression got progressively worse and since I was moving to a building in Miami with lots of dogs that I would have to share an elevator with, I decided to get help. Sam Ivy responded super quick and accommodated absolutely EVERYTHING so that I could get the most out of our time. I was only in Miami for a week and out trainer, Blas, did his best and moved his schedules around to come as many times as he could. Blas 100% knows his stuff! I would recommend Blas to anyone with my eyes closed. He is so knowledgeable on training aggressive dogs and he is also so friendly and trains the owners as well as the dog. My dog now gets in the elevator and walks past other dogs without so much as a second look and if he does it’s because he wants to play. I never thought I’d be able to walk in Miami stress free with my dog but Sam Ivy gave me my dog back and for that I am forever grateful.

We signed up for training for my aggressive German Shepherd who was more in control of me than the other way around. After working with Alexis and going through the advanced on the leash training program. Chase has been Transformed! I now know how to handle him and he has also become much more relaxed and trusting around our family, friends, and co-workers. Not only has Chase been trained but we have been trained as well. Would highly recommend Sam Ivy for any dog training needs you may have.

We had a great experience with Sam Ivy K9 Consultants! My wife and I originally just wanted to correct some puppy behaviors because our pup (Remy) was energetic at home and liked to bite on things. Turns out Remy was a good candidate for service dog training. We started with the basic proper pack behavior course and went all the way to the service dog level. We are now able to take Remy to any place that a regular person can go to. Sam assigned Joel as our trainer. You can tell Joel is a dog lover and is very passionate about his work. Our sessions went from training at home, to walking around the neighborhood, to going to high distraction places like the airport. Joel would identify areas that we could work on Remy with and we would practice. For example, Remy was initially scared of balloons. Joel went out and got a balloon so that we could get Remy accustomed to being around it. Eventually balloons were no big deal to Remy. Joel also brought his own dog (Griffon) along sometimes. Griffon was great for making sure that Remy followed commands properly even when another dog was around. It was also cool to see how well trained Griffon was, something for us to strive for with Remy. Overall, it was a fun journey taking Remy from a naughty puppy to a well-behaved service dog. Thank you to Joel and Sam Ivy K9!
