WELL WORTH THE MONEY! When I first got my dog, he was a completely uncontrollable psycho. It got to the point where after having for ONLY 4 weeks, I was contemplating getting rid of him. I didn't want to get rid of him because he has a great personality. He just also, unfortunatley, had some really bad behavioral problems that needed to be addressed. After hours of trying (and miserably failing) to train him myself, I decided to look for some outside help. I found Sam Ivy online through a quick google search and decided to schedule a consultation with Sam himself. Sam came to my house and sat down with me and my dog (who was wildly darting around the house, barking, jumping on us, chewing on furniture, etc) and laid out a few training options for me. I chose the intermediate on-leash program. We just completed this training program a few days ago, and I could not be more satisfied with the results. Deanna was my trainer and she was absolutely AWESOME. She was very accomodating to my schedule and was even able to work some weekends in. He's like a completely different dog! He knows what he is and is not allowed to do now, and most importantly he respects me as the leader of the house and LISTENS to what I say. If you are considering using Sam Ivy K9 Consultants -- DO IT!!!

My trainer is Deanna Green. She gave me so much confidence and in turn my dog now has so much confidence. She was so knowledgeable about what a dog truly needs to be a happy dog and the tools we need to use to teach them how to learn correctly. Now I can take my dog anywhere and trust my dog to listen to me and obey me even with distractions.

I have a now 5 month old Yorkie that I wanted to get trained. I searched the internet for days. I found one lady and decided to try her and all she did was sit, talk, suggest and took my money. Well, that’s not what I was use to, being that I have 4 year old Maltipoo that was trained, so I New what to expect. My search continued and I found Sam Ivy. Sam came out, gave me a consult and told me about the options for my Gabby. Before Sam left, I didn’t hesitate to sign Gabby up. A few days later, a trainer by the name of Deanna came just to talk the first day, explain more of what she was going to do and the legalities. We scheduled our first session for Gabby and to my amazement, Gabby was trained with her first command of “spot”. Each day Deanna came, we went over the basics and commands and believe or not, Gabby is doing amazing. Now she gets a little stubborn when Deanna comes, because she knows she has to work, but eventually, she goes with the flow. I can now tell Gabby to “sit” and “down”, with and without a leash. Deanna knows how frustrating it has been with me trying to get Gabby trained with two other dogs, but not once has she not been there for me, my frustrations and questions. She is an amazing trainer. Sam Ivy consultants is an awesome K-9 training company, and I am glad I found them to help. This company doesn’t just teach basic training, they go above and beyond and I thank them 1000%.
