Working with Hollie from Team Sam Ivy has been an absolute game-changer for me and my dog, Luca. From day one, Hollie was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her approach is structured but compassionate, and she made both Luca and me feel confident every step of the way. In just a short amount of time, my pup has transformed — no more whining in the crate, he’s fully potty trained, respectful of boundaries, walking beautifully on a leash, and thriving with commands like “spot.” I’ve seen real, lasting results and feel so much more connected to him. Hollie goes above and beyond in every session. Her passion for dogs and dedication to their growth is unmatched. It’s clear that this isn’t just a job for her — she genuinely cares about helping families build happy, well-behaved lives with their dogs. If you’re looking for a trainer who will bring out the best in your dog and truly invest in their progress, I can’t recommend Hollie and Sam Ivy enough. Thank you for everything!

We first worked with Sam and his team 12 years ago. My son (and his then 2 year old Doberman who had severe leash reactivity) called Sam looking for help. After working with both Brad and Sam, my sweet "Grandobe" (Bentley) became so much more enjoyable on walks and in public places. He's 14 years old now and still doing great after Sam and his team taught us how to make the necessary changes in our everyday lives with Bentley.
We now have a 6 month old, beautiful new Doberman puppy (Levi). I had no hesitation in deciding who I would reach out to for beginning our puppy training journey. It was important to me to create a good training foundation with our new youngster.
Levi and I had the joy of training with Treena. Levi's training has been seamless, enjoyable and a total success. Levi is doing exceptional and ready for the next advanced level of training thanks to Treena and her patience in teaching me how to "pivot" properly. Thank goodness she is so patient with her human student's. =)
I highly recommend Sam and his team for any of your training needs! Their professionalism, eagerness to teach and 24/7 care are all you could ask for when training a pup or correcting "behavior problems" with an older dog.

After adopting two puppies at the same time, we reached out to Sam Ivy for help. The staff at Sam Ivy was very responsive and set us up for an interview immediately, and we were matched with a trainer.(Hollie). Hollie has taken on our challenges with patience and understanding, I appreciate her “tell it like it is” attitude. The virtual training is very convenient and they send you all the tools needed. I would highly recommend Sam Ivy for dog training.

Mookie, my 5 month old Frenchton, and I just did 3 and a half weeks of training with Hollie. Mookie hated wearing a collar and was a puppy bitter and chewer of everything. We got him acclimated to collar, leash and e collar quickly. He took to walks, spot and crate like a champ. Hollie is great via zoom with us, patient, and really knows her stuff. Great experience and loved how fare we both came out through this training.
