We had been looking to train our furry babies for a while, tried different methods that didn’t work until we found Sam Ivy k-9. At the beginning we were somewhat hesitant but decided to give it a try. We had struggled to correct with the nonstop barking and jumping on people for over 2 years! Among other things. All of their bad habits are completely gone!! We had an amazing trainer, Maribel!! In every session she would listen to all our questions and concerns and went patiently step by step with us to correct all the bad behaviors they had. The investment is totally worth it, my babies would never stay still let alone pose for a picture, and look at them now!! Thank you Maribel and Sam Ivy!!

I’d like to leave a review for Sam Ivy Dog Training. My name is Michelle and we r a family of 5. My 3 kids were 13, 17 & 21 when we got our puppy Rizzo. We were so excited getting pictures from the breeder, dreaming of the day we could pick her up. Finally bringing her home at 8 weeks old and 8 lbs was the best day !!! Little did we realize we brought home a dinosaur. Biting and tearing cloths, jumping, lunging and very nippy. The months went by and 8 lbs changed to 40 lbs which changed to 75 lbs & now we have a real problem. Walking outside was impossible if we saw anyone. If we would tell her no for any reason she would jump on you and bite what ever she could reach. Our cute lab puppy was a nightmare & not at all the experience we were hoping for. I reached out to Sam Ivy for help & In walks sweet, little Maribel. I was wondering what magic she was going to pull out of her hat to make this behavior go away, we literally tried everything. It was as simple as a collar, leash and commands. What Maribel taught us was that Rizzo thought she was the boss, at 15 months old she was calling all the shots. Well I’m not joking but in literally 48 hrs her temperament was different. We just graduated and it’s been about 3 weeks. Rizzo does not bite, walks nice and doesn’t jump. I think the best thing we learned is to use spot training. We can now sit as a family and have a meal with out being barked at. She stays on her spot mat for 30 min!!! I can even load the dishwasher. Maribel made the training so easy & Rizzo was eager to please us as labradors are known for. We now have the most perfect dog, the one we had dreamed of. Even my neighbors noticed a difference and are so impressed. If you are having a problem and feel lost and frustrated give them a call. I was nervous and skeptical at the start but after 1 session I felt better. Was worth every penny!!!! THANK YOU MARIBEL!!!!!!!

Maribel was our trainer for our 6 month old pit bull. He wasn't really bad, just displaying the usual puppy behaviors. Now those behaviors are virtually non existent. Maribel was very punctual and professional. We had fun leaning how to use the two collars and various techniques. Now that he has graduated we have to continue practicing with him. (practice makes perfect) I like that this company teaches the owner how to control their dog. Nothing like in home training. Highly Recommended!

I could not recommend Sam Ivy K9 enough. Our basset hound, Sheldon, had crippling separation anxiety and would bark loudly for up to 2 hours when left alone. We were getting constant complaints and worried about getting evicted from our new apartment. We were initially hesitant to contact Sam Ivy because of the price, but let me tell you it was well worth the money!
Our trainer Joel was incredibly friendly, reassuring, knowledgeable and encouraging. His eagerness to work with Sheldon and previous success stories put us at ease right away. He made himself available between sessions via text to answer my endless questions and check in on our progress, was extremely punctual to sessions and flexible about scheduling times that worked for us, had a great positive attitude always, and even brought Sheldon treats!
After only 8 sessions, Sheldon has learned how to be alone without barking his lungs out and so much more! He is the best behaved he has ever been, and we are better dog parents because of Joel and Sam Ivy K9. Thank you guys for the work you do.
