Alexis was our trainer and she was amazing! Our dog is an 11 year old Great Dane mix that had developed aggression towards smaller dogs. (And all dogs are smaller when your 110 pounds). Alexis was patient and professional and treated our old boy like he was her own dog. We can now take him anywhere, the mall, dinner, dog parks, without any issues. The saying “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” just isn’t true if you have the right trainer and you really can’t do better than Alexis at Sam Ivy!

Sam Ivy K9 Consultants is incredible! They come to you and teach you in your own environment. The program provides the necessary tools to make your dog a rock star. Alexis was our trainer and she was such a pleasure to work with. Alexis quickly became our golden retriever puppy’s best friend and a member of the family. It isn’t often that you get this kind of personal attention from a dog training specialist. If you want an obedient fur baby in your pack, you have to go with Sam Ivy!

Gina was so amazing and we are so grateful for her helping us train our puppy. We started training when our goldendoodle puppy Mia was 11 weeks old . The difference after 1 training was remarkable. Gina also asked us every session about things we felt Mia needed to work on. So if we had any particular concerns she would make sure to make time for us to fit in working on those behaviors in our training sessions. It was such a wonderful experience and was worth every penny. Mia is a very friendly excited and curious puppy. We were able to work on her not jumping on people, or barking. We can now comfortably walk her around the block. She uses the bathroom right away when we take her out. She is attentive and engaged. We plan to continue using all the training techniques and hopefully do the Off-Leash classes a couple months from now. Thank you so much Gina for all your help!!

We decided to make an investment in our pup by hiring Sam Ivy K9 Consultants. Jackie our trainer was fabulous to work with. Each session was clear and concise as she showed me how to properly establish who is in charge of the pack! Their methods work. With practice and patience any dog can become a super listener and well behaved. I highly recommend Sam Ivy K9 Consultants and feel fortunate to have learned so much from Jackie our trainer. We look forward to continuing our Intermediate Off Leash training in September!
