We wanted to share our experience working with Sam Ivy K-9 Consultants and our excellent trainer, Alexis.
Our dog Mitch was a fairly new addition to our household (around six months) and he was about two when we adopted him. Mitch was high energy and was destructive as well. We had lost a leather chair to his extreme chewing habit as well as part of a wall. He jumped on anything that moved, was a counter surfer and had also been seen jumping from a sitting position to the top of a table when he saw something he wanted that was out of reach of his constantly moving paws and mouth.
We did our research and came upon Sam Ivy K9 Consultants. The 100's of excellent reviews helped us make up our mind.
I had no reservations, however my fiancee was quite skeptical. After the first two sessions however he started to come around as we both started to see the results.
We now have control of Mitch even if we all have a lot of work still to do. This training isn't just about your pet but it's also about learning how dogs think and how we can 'communicate' with them.
I have no reservations giving Sam Ivy K9 Consultants and Alexis our trainer a five star review.
Thank you so much for bringing sanity back to my life.

My dog was showing signs of aggression towards my mother. We had to seek help. Alexis was amazing! She was really patient with me and my dog and she clearly has a love for animals and my dog loved her! Now I have all the tools I need, and my dog is the ideal pet. She doesn't jump immediately when people come in the door, her aggression has subsided, and she listens better than she ever has before. The greatest part is they not only teach obedience training but how to be the alpha to your dog and how to earn their respect. I honestly believe it was worth every penny paid!

Sam Ivy K9 Consultants Inc has earned a 5 star rating. Ryann our trainer was great! She was there with us every step of the way. While working Hurricane Irma for my job down in the Keys I adopted my Lab Charlie and brought him back with me. Charlie had some health issues that he overcame and my family and I experienced his energy. Jumping on people, counters, pulling on walks, getting into the trash, chewing on furniture, shoes, and lunging at our cat. From the first day of training Ryann quickly began addressing the issues. I would have never guessed that my dog would be so obedient in such a short amount of time. Ryann has given my family and I the knowledge to effectively communicate with our dog. I assure you Sam’s training works. If you are looking for an average dog trainer this group of trainers are not for you. If you are looking for the elite and why wouldn’t you be for your fur baby, than Sam Ivy and staff are your trainers. Big shout out to our trainer, consultant, and new friend Ryann!
