I want to thank Miguel, my trainer, and Sam Ivy K9 for teaching me the importance of having the skills and tools to assure a long happy life with my dog, Rudy. I thought if I read enough books and watched enough dog training videos, I could master the art of teaching my rambunctious canine to obey me. I couldn’t, because, I fell for the cuteness of a puppy. Rudy was soon training me to what he wanted. Miguel’s instructions, patience, and positive professionalism helped me conquer my insecurities about having a dog with a strong character. I was delighted to learn about Proper Pack Behavior, since this was the problem area for me. Once I started showing my dog, I was in charge, behaviors I didn’t like stated to disappear. He is calmer and likes to snuggle when I invite him. Before it was only play time and mouthing. Miguel is a professional who explained the mystery behind the the commands. I get it now. It is a pleasure to walk my dog, not a chore. It is my job to “ know what is best” for my dog. He in turn will be a great companion. Thank you so much! Looking forward to the next phase!

I am beyond thankful for everything Maribel at Sam Ivy K9 Consultants has done for Bernie and me. Prior to working with Maribel, Bernie was aggressive and extremely difficult to walk on a leash. Maribel was extremely accommodating and knowledgable in training Bernie, my 160 lb rescued St. Bernard. I am now comfortable and confident handling Bernie. Through this program, Bernie and I have bonded even more and he now has more respect for me. I highly recommend using Maribel or anyone from the Sam Ivy K9 Consultants team.

Excellent training by Jackie! My dog was driving me nuts by being stubborn and rambunctious. He is a big goldendoodle that is highly energetic and I wanted to find a trainer that helps me to get him under control and Jackie helped me to do just that. I would definitely recommend Sam Ivy to anyone who wants obedience training or wants to get their dog to under control.

I had Maribel as my trainer and she was the best! Highly recommend her! She helped me train my rottweiler puppy who was a tearing up everything he is now calm and no longer bites. I did the on leash program but we had so much progress that I was able to move to off leash by my self!
