I love working w/ Nicole! Baylee ( Bichon 3 yrs old) has about 1 week left before graduation of Sam Ivy's training. He's always been a sweet and loving dog, but he didn't listen to me and was always pulling on the leash . He also was taking my glasses and toilet paper as well as constant begging. Now he walks beside me on a loose leash , listened and obeys commands, doesn't beg or take toilet paper or my glasses. I credit this to the program and Baylee's trainer, Nicole. She is very skilled at training and has been s pleasure to work with. I give her a 5 star!

I brought home a brand new 8 week old Golden Retrieve puppy in June ... my first BIG dog! Neighbors of mine recommended Sam Ivy to me. They are owners of 2 (" NOW" well behaved) Doodles and after completing the program the results for their dogs were astounding. It seemed like a "no-brainer" for me to call Sam Ivy for help.
It had been over 15 years since I had trained a puppy and knew instantly I could use some help. Enzo was awesome. He was the Consultant who came out and met Gracie and myself to explain how the program was structured. Enzo assured me that the Sam Ivy program was the best in town. How true! Garcie (my pup) and I signed up for the full program to included: Obedience thru "Advanced On and Advanced Off-Leash" training.
Ryann was our trainer and she was fabulous! Ryann's kindness, patience (with both Gracie and myself) , her professionalism, her calm, focused, patient demeanor ... and, her love for her job ... were second to NONE! With Ryann's help, Gracie graduated in late October. Both Ryann and Gracie are amazing!!!
Gracie is now 7 months old. She is very obedient, very well-mannered and she truly is a wonderful, well trained companion. We are giving consideration to continuing on with Sam Ivy K9 Consultants for Service/Therapy Dog Training sometime in the future.

We hired Sam after our friend gave him (and his trainers) a grand review. We had just adopted a Boxer and knew she was going to be powerful. My wife wanted to ensure she would be able to handle a full grown Boxer and we wanted the best investment in the Bay Area. It's been four years and we STILL receive compliments on how well behaved she is! "I wish my dog would listen like your's!" "She won't go past the curb? Really?" The quotes go on and on... I believe the best part of the training is what we (humans) receive - an education on how a dog communicates with us. Body language is SO important! Albeit one part of the equation. You will thank Sam and his staff afterwards! This investment will certainly provide a lifelong payout for both you and your canine companion(s)!

We first contacted Sam Ivy K9 to correct some behavior issues that our 5 month Old English Bulldog was having; like pulling whenever we walked her, not going to her kennel, jumping on people, and playing too rough with other dogs. Sam Ivy was a great experience for my husband and me. Our dog just graduated from Proper Pack Behavior training and she is doing great; behaving and following instructions. Alexis, our trainer, showed great professionalism, love and care for my dog and always answered promptly any doubts we had. Thank you so much and yes, I recommend it.
