It was a perfect little getaway weekend! Roaring fireplace, a couple adult beverages and staring out at the lake.. We hoped for snow, maybe next time.
If you want a nice, quiet, relaxing retreat, we highly recommend Big Bear vacation cabins.

beautiful home. great remodel. great decor. cozy. clean. great location. only two small critiques, I had small issue with the heater the first night, maintenance responded right away and came within a few minutes. And only gas fire place and fire pit.... would be nice to burn some wood. I like smoking cigars, but I was not sure if I was allowed to smoke one on the patio or not... there was a note inside the house that said no smoking on the property, but on the site just said no smoking in the house..... so i didn't light one up. I would have like to enjoy a stick on the patio next to the fire pit.
at the end of the day, the wife loved it, the kids loved it. I loved it too. We will stay there again.

Our cabin with Big Bear Vacations was amazing!!! The service was great and fast when we needed help with something. It was neat and clean too. My only complaint is the heater could have worked a little better (but I am the girl that is always cold)! I would stay again!

Big Bear Vacations was an absolute delight! One of the best if not the best place to find a place up in Big Bear. Amazing customer service and some of the most hardworking and generous staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I began by calling a vacation specialist over the phone; Immediately I am welcomed with the kindest greeting. The employee is named Diane and she is absolutely amazing. We go through some options that would be most financially viable for me. I had to hang up because I did not have my information in order and had to make sure I was able to afford everything. Completely my own doing. I asked for her name and called her back a few times and each time she had the most charming attitude. I find a cabin at a very reasonable price. I let her know that it is my girlfriends birthday to see of they would do anything extra. They went the extra mile and placed a gift basket in the cabin assorted with lots of goodies. Once we got there, they gave her a bunch of balloons and even gave her dog a treat with her dogs name on it! The cabin was amazing! Very cozy and beautiful, and they sell lumber in their gift shop very cheap. They also gave us a ticket for a free entrance at a local farm. Everyone their was delightful, said happy birthday to my girlfriend and remembered our names the whole time. When I asked for a late check out I was pleasantly surprised that Diane had given us a complimentary late check-out all the way till 1 pm as apposed to the usual 10 am, which gave us some extra time to sleep and just enjoy the cabin a bit more. My stay was heart warming, pleasant and relaxing. Their whole staff's purpose is to make sure your stay is a relaxing and amazing experience. I would like to personally point out Diane, she went above and beyond for me and my girlfriend. This is a trip that we will always remember and she is one of the reasons why it was so great. Thank you Diane for your hard work, outstanding customer service and friendly attitude. Your drive for excellence is seen through your work ethic and compassion. Thank you!

This was the perfect, cozy cabin for my wife and I and out two small cocker spaniels. Its close to everything, the lake, the Village, restaurants, ski lifts, etc. The cabin is in a peaceful neighborhood and easy to find. We thoroughly enjoyed getting away for the weekend and loved this quaint cabin.

Wonderful house. Very clean. Some confusion at check in and my key was attached to with a paper clip.....tacky for a 4,000 weekend house!
House could use some new beds....and has a slight smell of soot in Master bedroom (we would not use fireplaces due to this) When the fireplace was on in living room it smelled heavily in Master bedroom.
