Staying at the Birchwood Knoll home with some friends, and it has been a fantastic stay for us. Big Bear Vacations made everything very easy, and the only complaint I have is that there wasn't a winning lotto ticket on the kitchen counter when we checked in It has really been convenient and we've been having a blast both her at the home, and around the lake. Thank you for a wonderful opportunity and time BBV!

Shore acres is a great for kids and adults. The kids feel safe with the pool and playground being in the complex. Fishing is just down the hill. The cabins are rustic enough to feel like you are back in time.

This was our first Big Bear Vacations stay and it won't be our last. First, the people at the office where we check-in were very friendly and helpful and there was a welcome sign for our pets with free treats for them which we found thoughtful and sweet. Then, when we got to our weekend home we all liked that it felt so cozy and inviting. Everything was nice and clean. The complimentary items like towels, soaps, dishes, made everything easier. We even had a tv, movies, and books in our home. Our cabin was close to the lake so we got to have a nice walk along the lake. The area is peaceful and quiet and the scenery is beautiful. There are grocery stores near by for any supplies needed. We all loved our stay and are coming back very soon!

Had a wonderful experience using Big Bear Vacations! Their response time was quick, and their customer service was excellent! We were notified the day prior to checking in, that the jacuzzi at the original cabin we rented was not working. We were offered 2 alternative locations with similar accommodations, so we chose a new cabin and were very pleased! It was clean and well kept, and we enjoyed the jacuzzi at night. We honestly thought it seemed nicer than the original, so it was a win-win for us! We are definitely going to use Big Bear Vacations to book our next trip, and we highly recommend them!

The staff is so welcoming and sweet. We were running a little late for checkout the day off, I called and asked if it would be an inconvenice to maybe check out an hour later, the lady at the desk assured me that it would not be an inconvenience and gave us a complimentary check it till 1pm. I will definitely be coming back to big bear and booking with them. The experience was amazing.

Big Bear was amazing! It was my first time visiting, family and I had a blast. The rental we stayed in was great it had some little down falls it needed some work and little more clean up. Window screen torn, bugs and spiders in the restroom and kids room. We could not leave windows open. The BBQ was filthy it has never been cleaned! But over all it was fun.

Not too sure why this company gets bad reviews? We stayed at The Easy Times cabin with our family over the labor day weekend and couldn't be happier! Check in was a breeze, and the ladies at the front desk were very nice and professional.
Upon arriving to the cabin we found it to be clean and in great shape, there was central air so the temperature inside the cabin was always pleasant. There was plenty of space for our family (5 adults and 3 kids), the cabin was very spacious and comfortable. The cabin has 2 tv's with cable, and it also has wifi so we were able to stream/watch movies on Netflix and hulu with no issue.
The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook a fantastic family meal, although we brought paper plates and cups (cause we really didn't want to wash dishes while on vacation) the cabin did have plenty of utensils, plates, cups, and food storage space.
The backyard had a working hot tub, bbq grill, and beautiful wood cut outdoor furniture to sit and watch the stars at night. There was lots of light in the backyard and front yard too, so the views of the forest was great. Just as a heads up, there was no phone reception for some of us, so you might need to walk around the neighborhood in order to make a phone call.
Overall, my family and I really liked the Easy Times cabin and we will definitely be back once it starts snowing up in the wonderful town of Big Bear! We all had a terrific time!

Very good and dedicated service. BBV helped us with any eventuality, as our group was 2 families, 5 kids total, you can imagine that it was not easy. BBV communicated extremely well and handled us like pros. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them in the future. Highly recommend.

The cabin was perfect location (on the golf course) - and perfect size. It is a bit out dated, but was very comfortable and clean. I wouldn't have changed anything.

We arrived and got the keys to our cabin. While walking out I noticed the cabin I chose was not the cabin we booked. They said they've been calling and e-mailing me to let me know the original cabin was not available but I didn't receive an email and honestly I never checked my voicemail.
We got to our cabin and it was pretty nice. I didn't mind the cabin they chose because it was so close to the lake and the main reason I stayed at Big Bear lake was to go fishing.
Overall I had a great time! Staff was helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back again around April or May when fishing is better

This is a beautiful home! Big bear vacations and the home owner were very accommodating, as we had a specific request while staying here. We had 3 families stay here together and there was plenty of room and then some. The stairs do get a little tiring, but it's definitely not a deal breaker for this home. Love our stay here and will definitely use again!

Clean, spacious cabin. We enjoyed large front deck and direct entrance to the nature from the back door. Quiet neighborhood, 7min walk to the lake.

We decided one night, hey! We have money, two days off, it's the hubby's birthday...lets rent a cabin! We rented it late one night & left the next afternoon. When we arrived it turned out WONDERFUL! The cabin was clean & cozy & welcoming. Well stocked with board games and blankets. A great escape from the hundred degree weather at home! Highly recommend Big Bear vacation rentals! We will definitely be coming back when it snows!
