I was there for the mid November days . I had a Good experience overall. However, the only thing I did not like was that I was charged for the cleaning fee and the cabin was not that clean when I got there.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The service at the front desk was excellent at well. We will definitely rent through you again, but possibly rent a larger capacity one if we can get the extended family to join us.

My friends and I rented Moose Creek Chalet last December, and we had a great time. The service was great. Jackie was extremely helpful, and didn't even budge when she was hit with our multiple random phone calls, and thousands of questions. With every single call, she would ask us how we're doing, and gave us little tips about out trip, and how to plan accordingly. She worked with us very well, and tried her best to make sure we were satisfied. We were.
We got to the cabin, and everything was great. The cabin was clean, perfect, and comfortable. The surrounding area was great, we had a fun time exploring, and going on various adventures. The gas station nearby was a life saver when we needed cheese, firewood, and detergent at 2 in the morning.
We'll definitely be making this an annual thing. We're looking forward to visiting Big Bear again!

I stayed at Easy Times #1341. Had an amazing time! The cabin came with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. My favorite part was the backyard, which came with 3 tables, a grill, and spa. There was a broken table, but we placed a table mat to even it out. We had some trouble with the wifi, but it was not a big deal. I'm glad we even had wifi! Other than that, the house was beautiful. I have no complaints. Had such a great time. We hiked, kayaked, ziplined, even met some cool people at the lake who let us try inner tubing. We were pretty busy, so I wish we could have spent more time at the cabin relaxing. Oh and the people at Big Bear Vacations were really nice and accommodating.

My children and I had a wonderful time at this spacious cabin, (StarGazin). In our group it was myself, 5 kids ages 9-18, and two dogs and we had plenty of room to roam. The kitchen and all the seating was a pleasant surprise. I have a large family and it is hard to find a kitchen that suits us. I have stayed in Big Bear a few times now, from up in the woods to down in the village, and this cabin was perfectly placed, and the neighbors were nice !!

We've been going to big bear just about every year for over 30 years. We've rented from many places, stayed in hotels, small motel type cabins, etc. This place is our favorite. The building where you check in is an awesome huge log cabin right on Big Bear Boulevard! They have coffee, tea, and sometimes hot chocolate ready to warm you up when you check in.
They have a wide range of cabins, often have deals (Living Social), and really seem to be happy to help you. Other places we've rented from have staff that are angry and bothered. Not this place! Check in and check out is always easy and uneventful as it should be.
This is the place we've rented from for several years now and will continue to do so.
They are so popular you might have trouble getting in touch with them, call first thing in the morning on a weekday. If you leave a message anytime they will call back, however.

I guess it's worth its money, but the house we stayed at was very dirty. I had to wash all the dishes before we are because everything was filthy. Dust is all over the place, however, the bathroom was clean enough. When we arrived, the lockbox was empty, and the office had already closed. Luckily, their 24 hour service number worked, and someone came within 15 minutes to give us the keys to the property. The receptionists were very helpful all along the way, responding to messages and picking up the phone promptly (during office hours). We also got a voucher for a free kayak/paddle board rental for 2 hours.

In 2017 my family got together for Christmas and stayed at a cabin in Crestline through AirBNB, nice, but small and too far from the ski areas. This year we decided to book through Big Bear Vacations. We were within walking distance of the Snow Summit ski area and 15 minutes from Bear Mountain. The cabin was approximately 2000 sq. ft. with plenty of room for 10 people to move around without crowding one another. Two living rooms, both with fireplaces, one was a combined game room with a pool table and multi-function game table, big screen TV and stereo system. One of the unique layouts of this cabin was a bar in the big living room with a pass through to the kitchen which was open on the other side to the other living room so that no-one was left out of any activity. Two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. There was also a nice deck on the front of the cabin and a patio deck on the backside of the cabin with a BBQ and a hot tub right next to the deck. Plenty of parking for about 4 vehicles. I only gave the cabin 4 stars because of a few issues which needed to be addressed. The heater thermostat for the entire place is downstairs near the front door so in an effort to keep the temperature where you want it, the upstairs becomes extremely hot when it comes time to sleep. The mattresses in the bedrooms are used up, lumpy and really need to be replaced but we managed. The oven is old and the door did not close all the way and made it difficult to cook and regulate the temperature, but again we managed.
Covid 19 restrictions put on by the city council limited us to 8 people and 2 cars which is not what we paid for. This was a little ridiculous because all the stores were packed, restaurants were open and it was elbow to elbow shopping in the village so a lot of good the restrictions were on the cabin renters other than to make Christmas with the family more difficult, but this was not the fault of Big Bear Vacations they just passed along the city council recommendations.
All things considered we had a great time, everyone loved the cabin, we will rent it again in the future and if the inconveniences are taken car of this cabin is a 5 Star. The people in reservations, the front desk people, etc. made the trip easy and they were very responsive to any questions or concerns we had during our stay. 5 Star rating to the staff of Big Bear Vacations.
