We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was lovely and the communication between the owners was great! You can just text them and they respond quickly.
We must say the pots / pans are a little run down and maybe should be replaced as the food would stick on to them. I would recommend bringing some cooking ware along to be safe.
Also the listing said there was 2 twin beds & a queen bed in 1 room which I didn’t see. I think the 2 twin beds were combined to make it look like a queen bed & there was a sofa bed which we couldn’t use because it didn’t have any support and you were just basically sleeping on the ground. This is something else that needs upgrading so that there isn’t people sleeping on the floor.
Aside from that, all else was great. Beautiful cabin over all and nice views. Everything was used from the jaccuzi to the game room, everything.

My family and I enjoyed the perfect cabin location for a long weekend on the lake with our own lake access for fishing, boating and just relaxation at Big Bear. Very spacious cabin well equipped with everything we needed. Cabin was clean and odor free, which is a priority for me.

It was a lovely rental--cutely decorated and gorgeous view of lake, etc. Heater worked. There was big snow storm the weekend we were there so that was wonderful. Yard was safe for dog (well fenced in). Would have appreciated paper towels, kitchen dish cloths, and a dust pan (there as a broom though).

Recently went to visit and had a wonderful experience, I rented 1690-Daze Off and it a nice small cozy home very beautiful surrounding as well.
My only concern that's holding me back from a 5 star review is that the heating wouldn't reach the rooms it is a 2 story home and it does have heating in the living areah but it would not reach the room so the night was cold, good thing i brought a couple blankets but besides that I had a good experience. It is a very nice home.

This company is great! Easy check in and out and very quick to respond. The cabin we choose was as expected except a few things that weren't up to standard such as the fridge didn't work and we were having issues with locks but nothing that affected our stay or time there. Definitely will choose this company over Airbnb for sure!

I booked with Big bear Vacations after searching for cabins on several different websites. Big Bear Vacations had the best deal. The representatives were kind and responded quickly. The cabin my family and I stayed at was nice and spacious, for the most part clean. Upon arrival I've notice minor issues with the home. Outside had a mess from prior visitors. The water took awhile to heat up. Pool table sticks were broken, just to name a few. When I spoke to a representative in regards to these issues they got maintenance out immediately to fix whatever was in need. I would book with them again for that reason. Customer service was excellent.

This is our 10th year staying in Big Bear with Big Bear Vacations, and it did not disappoint! We went with the Swiss Summit Chalet, as we had a larger group this time. Although the accomodations are a little out-dated, it suited our needs as a group and everyone was happy! The convenience to Snow Summit was incredible, if we got tired during the day at the ski resort it's literrally a skip across the street to the house. The service at Big Bear vacations is amazing, we'll definitely be back for our annual birthday trip for our son!

We had some great family time in our cozy cabin. The location is great because it is so close to the lake and Big Bear Village. The cabin itself is clean and cozy. It has 2 bedrooms downstairs and a loft upstairs. The kitchen had everything I needed and it was clean. The set-up was perfect for our family. I didn't give it 5 stars because at the time that we visited, the outside did not seem well kept. It needs a little cosmetic work (painting/wood sealer) and upkeep in the BBQ area, however; it was a great value for our money and without any hesitation this cabin will be our first choice for future visits because of what I mentioned previously. Also, both times I had contact with the Big Bear Vacations staff they were super nice and helpful.

Our second time staying in this cabin, it was just nice to know what we were signing up for as pictures can be deceiving, although this place looks bigger in the photos... it is perfect for us- we had my husband and I, our 5 and 7 yr. old, my sister and bro. in law, and grandma... going up we started putting chains and a road worker said we didnt need them anymore so we proceeded. Once there the porch was slippery with melting snow and ice, the plastic shovel broke. My sisters lexus got stuck and we had to call a tow truck to pull her out. Wish the place had salt and seasoning for us like last time... we didnt take it and needed it, wish they provided more TP... as we barely made it. Wish there were detailed instructions on heating up the hot tub- controls were weird... wish they had a door mat as the floor kept getting wet from coming in.... that was really annoying... They could provide a real sponge too- had to go buy one as I cant just use a tiny rag to wash dishes... It would be nice to throw a fake log in the fire ( one side of the gas flame was low ). They could provide some more blankets... Laundry detergent would be nice... Just little nit picky stuff that would make it that much more enjoyable... other than that it is a great little cabin.

I stayed at 1663 - Boulder Bay Hideaway, for labor weekend it was 5 of us and our puppy when i first walked into the property my first impression was the chimney and how CLEAN the place was, i didn’t like how much dust the curtains had on them also the dining table chairs the cabin definitely needs to be dusted, another thing i didn’t like was how much dog hair the living room couches had, one of the bed sheets had a lot of dog hairs we put if away didn’t use it at all, who ever is cleaning this place need to make sure they vacuum the couches i have a dog myself but i keep him in crate ,other than that the place was big and conferable it had a pool table,board games,wifi,cable,private gated parking we felt safe we will definitely recommend it to any family it looks much better in person, also this office makes it so easy to check out the property has a lock box so we left the key there and send a text message went home save time we didn’t have to drive to the office.

Nice place. Nothing fancy, but perfect for my hubby, daughter and I. Right on the lake which is a plus. Pool and swings are a great touch esp with kids. Really close to the Village and marina. Will def stay here again.

This is a great home in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed time on the deck, in the trees. The home itself needs some upkeep: the deck is in bad shape, a few places inside have paint peeling. The cable TV is bewildering as we did not get most of the basic cable channels. Maybe we were just through regular broadcast, but if so, could use directions. Also, the kitchen had plastic spoons and only two metal spoons, both made for kids. But despite those things, we enjoyed our stay here.

Check in was extremely easy and efficient. Home was as stated and great location. Nothing was missing, we had a great time and the the hot tub was going when we got there!

My family and I had a nice visit. The place was clean, check in was easy, and we loved the location. I'm giving it four stars because we purposely booked a place (a more expensive place) with a hot tub and it didn't work. When I called no one answered or returned my phone call. After reading the guest book, I realized we weren't the first renters to have this problem. If Big Bear Vacations wants to charge $300/night they need to make sure the amenities they advertise actually work. I probably wouldn't book this place again.

The rooms were what we'd expect and a little different from the actual pictures online but overall quiet with decent views. Parking was easy with lots of available spaces. Walking distance to bike and kayak rentals.

Big Bear Vacations was great! You took care of everything that we needed. We really appreciated your attention to getting the table and chairs as we sat out there often. The kitchen and bathrooms were great. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and perfect for our last minute get-a-way.
The house needs some TLC. The railing around the spa is broken and resting on the side with nails exposed. I wouldn't want children near that. The game room was in poor shape but we were okay with it as we didn't need to play. There were no darts for the dart board, no balls to play ping pong and the tips were all missing from the pool table sticks.
We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. We spoke with several nice people. The fireworks were great!

BBV moved us to this property after 1st property was unacceptable. It was newly remodeled with all new appliances and hardwood floors. We had a few plumbing problems but they sent folks over the same day and resolved. There is a staircase in the living room leading to a loft with a chain and a sign that says "KEEP OUT DO DOT ENTER" It does not appear in the photos and it seemed strange. BBV staff is very responsive and very pleasant to deal with. We will definitely use them again.

Space and amenities just right for me and my husband. Quiet and relaxing. Would stay there again. Pet friendly was a plus for bringing our dog.

The cabin was cute and close to pretty much everything. Centrally located to all shops but still secluded enough to where you felt like you were in the wilderness. Weather was great so we were able to walk around and do some out door things. There was only one downside. As guests we are expected to clean the cabin, which is expected. however, cleaning supplies are not provided. They give you a mop and a broom, a little bit of dish washing soap and that's pretty much it. No cleaning solutions whatsoever to wipe down the counters, no cleaning solution for the bathrooms or to mop. We have stayed at other places in Big Bear with the expectation that you will clean, but cleaning supplies are provided. If the supplies were locked up in the cabinet, no one gave us the key or let us know how we could open. We cleaned as best we could with a little soap and water. If clwaning is expected, some lysol wipes or anything like that would be appreciated. But overall a nice experience.
