The home was quite cozy and comfortable; although we would have preferred having Wi-Fi, but probably a nice break. Rihanna and Emily were very helpful in finding a new location for us since we were not very happy with out first choice. This home made up for our disappointment. The one bedroom cottage is perfect for a couple! It's has a great location as well as a view of the lake we were close to everything. The kitchen was setup with everything you might need including a blender that was a surprise and they also take pets we had a great time check-in and out was very easy we will go back for sure!

The housekeeping wasn't done when we check in. They quickly found us another house really close buy to stay. The housekeeping at the new location had issue. However Big Bear Vacation staff was helpful and polite and the management team did reach with apologies.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights during March and really enjoyed our stay. The size of the house (2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom) was perfect for us and we really liked the fact that all the rooms including the kitchen and the living area were on the same level without having to go up and down the stairs. The house has central heat with a Nest thermostat! The view from the patio was amazing with the snow capped mountains in the distance. The only complaint is the bathroom faucets are old and it was impossible to get the water at the right temperature. It was either too cold or piping hot. The house is located on a quiet street about 2 or 3 miles from the main shopping areas and restaurants on Big Bear Blvd. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

The staff was real friendly and helpful. The cabin was nice and in a great location. The cabin was in a little bit of disrepair and a prior tenant had a dog that left a message on one of the balconies.

Great place to stay, very near the Snow summit resort (5 min walk). Taking 1 star away because something was wrong with the hot tub and we had to call a few times to get it fixed. Thus we only ended up using the second night. Please preheat it next time a few hours before guest arrival. Also, we were not allowed to leave our cars at the house for a few hours after we checked out. Nice experience overall, the house itself is wonderful!

The House Negatives:
1. When we arrived we soon discovered a problem with the cleaning. The cleaning crew had only lightly gone over the house, leaving it filthy under the furniture, corners, etc.
2. The towel situation was lacking. No washcloths, few hand towels (there were nine of us), and only one bath towel per person.
3. The main, large-screen TV was also found not to be working. Unfortunately, it was Academy Awards Sunday, and that’s a yearly tradition for our group of middle-aged women.
The Fixes: Big Bear Vacations was contacted, and they went above and beyond to make it right. Tim and Christina’s response was commendable. They were pleasant, apologetic, and ‘on it’ to make sure the problems were corrected to the best of their ability.
After an original snafu the towel situation was corrected. The house was expertly cleaned the next day. And a tech was sent to address the TV— unfortunately he could never get the TV to work.
The House Positives:
1. It was a great Big Bear location, close to shopping and skiing.
2. The roads were clear and drivable in snowy weather.
3. The property was great for sledding and building snowmen.
4. The home had a lot of space for all nine of us.
5. There was a large dining room table, so we could all sit together for meals, and the dining room table was perfect for games.
6. The nice kitchen was a spacious gathering place as well. It was great for cooking. However, the kitchen didn’t supply much, so be sure to come prepared. We suffered for lack of corkscrew, but somehow we managed to get the wine open-LOL!
Even with the difficulties, we had a wonderful time and we would not hesitate to use Big Bear Vacations in the future. Things can fall through the cracks, especially in the busy, snowy, Big Bear winter season. In today’s world, stellar customer service is hard to come by. Again, Christina and Tim at Big Bear Vacations went above and beyond to make things right.

#1844 - Fawnskin Pines
The staff was wonderful, always helpful. The vacation company it’s self I would recommend. Our Cabin (#1844 - Fawnskin Pines) was clean and nice but not what we expected. Some things that were Advertised it did not have. The owners left odd notes all over making the stay in some ways uncomfortable. The beds in the cabin were very uncomfortable, no one got a good nights sleep. The cabin was not worth the money we paid in our opinion, and we rent cabins in Tahoe regularly. My friends and I stayed at the Dreams of Summit Big Bear Vacations Cabin and it was truly a great place to stay. The cabin was clean and tidy with a pool table and jacuzzi for us to enjoy. Snow Summit was within walking distance of our Cabin (within .5 miles) and the village and Vons were within a mile of our location so everything was super convenient and easy to access. The only downside to the cabin itself was the slightly uncomfortable twin beds and the partially breaking sleeper sofa located on the upper floor loft but other than that amazing! The master bed room with the tub was beautiful! I would highly recommend Big Bear Vacations as the check in was seamless and the property was masterful.

The condo was very comfortable and clean. We did experience a problem with the cable TV so just confirm it is working before you reserve it.

The house was very spacious and cozy. We enjoyed the outside yard too. It was great for the kids. The house was also very close to the slopes. We could walk there in 15 min or walk 5 min to the Brownie lot and catch a free shuttle. Having another set of cutlery would have been nice, and more plates and cups. But overall it was very pleasant and we'd love to visit again.

Big Bear Vacations was a great way to book our cabin for our winter holiday in Big Bear. The staff were all very nice and very prompt in their response to our questions and concerns. We had some small problems with the cabin but they were solved very quickly and very nicely by the office staff and the maintenance crew.

Nice cabin and good service from the staff. A few things could have been better: Later checkout time than 10am, and not having to wash our own dishes. Plus, a circuit breaker tripped twice (the one controlling the heater) and required me to get up in the middle of the night and go out in the cold to reset. All-in-all, a good experience and I will use Big Bear Vacations again.

Great location, the property was very clean and beautiful. The living room was extremely spacious and kitchen was small. However, the heat distribution between all bedrooms were unequal, some rooms were super cold while the other one was a hot. Check in and check out were easy. We can paid extra for early check in and late check out.

This cabin was in a great location walking distance to the Village and plenty of space. Check-in was pretty easy and convenient as well. Kitchen is a bit small and TVs are very outdated and there is no wifi but overall stay was comfortable and best part, close to the village.

Beautiful house, we had a great time. The kids loved the pool table, there was internet. A few things to improve:
1. Little things lacked: I wish there was more towels, and I could not find any hairdryer. Also the kitchen has no bread toaster. And no basics to cook anything (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar, the, coffee..) there is a coffee maker but no coffee filters, which makes it useless.
2. Also the smoke detectors where activated all the time, whether you start the fire in the chimney, or because of the steam in the shower or if you're cooking.
3. Shower heads need to be replaced. It's a small investment but will bring big improvement.

We rented a 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin near Moonridge. It was nice and clean. Probably wouldn’t rent this cabin again because it’s on busy street. We have small children. Also no use of small backyard.
Check in was easy staff was nice.
