The location of the cabin is great! And the cabin itself seemed clean and cozy; had all the amenities we needed. Two things that stand out to me and aren't really a big deal, but would make this a five star place, in my opinion. The entire flooring of this cabin (including around the toilet) is carpet, brown and dark brown. So not exactly sure how clean it is since it's a good color to camouflage dirt. The carpet also caused a lot of static electricity. We were all shocking each other and getting shocked throughout our stay. The second thing, we couldn't find any tools to shovel up the ice in front of our door steps. I'm sure you know how that went. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and will most likely seek out to stay in this cabin again if our party is just as small next time. I will say, the customer service at Big Bear Vacations is top notch. Shoutout to Justin! Thank you!!

Was a nice little cabin. You need to take all Of your own stuff if you are cooking. Take spices And paper towels—as if you were camping. It snowed and it was great. Fair price for what you get Everything is close-about ten minutes from town. And Ski areas.

i wish the bed doesn't make noise eveytime i move , couch and dining chairs are way too old ( got itchy sitting at the couch) otherwise, the experience would have been perfect. I love that the jacuzzi was a few feet away .

Had a pleasant weekend getaway. From booking the cabin to checking out, customer service was great. Planning another small get away and without a doubt it will be thru Big Bear Vacations.

Nice cabins, clean but dusty in spots, no paper towels, coffee pot but no filters, etc. Not a problem, but would have been nice to know beforehand.

We stayed at Hulley's Hideaway. This is a dog friendly cabin and we had a good time. A couple of CONS: The beds were very uncomfortable, the carpets were not vacuumed and I found a piece of glass which my dog could have easily stepped on. There were no instructions on how to use the tv and there was no remote for the Amazon Fire Stick. Luckily we figured out how to hook up the DVD player and were able to watch a movie. The outside furniture needed to be cleaned (you'd think with people booked for the cabin this would have been done). The PROS: The location was great, just far enough away to have some privacy, the jacuzzi was amazing!!! Everything in the kitchen and bathroom worked great and they even have a washer/dryer. We will definitely use Big Bear Vacations again. They're great people and we really enjoyed Big Bear.

Did a little weekend get away with my Fiance and a few family and friends. Home was great, but we did run into a few small issues such as one of the sinks in the living room didn't work near the bar area. The stove wouldn't completely shut it would literally open back up just enough for the stove light to come on. One peeve that I did have was only 4 cars are allowed on the premises if they're to stay the night. 2 in the garage and 2 in the lot. Our group didn't arrive together as everyone was coming from out of town with a little one so it's kind of hard to hitch a ride with one another. However we made it work. Onto the positive. The home had an adequate amount of entertainment such as the shuffle board, pool table, poker table and it even had board games for the kids. There were plenty of pots, pans, cups and utensils. We only had two small trash bags however we were told there would be an extra (2) which we never found and ended up purchasing some. Overall our stay was great and we will be back in the future.

Overall, great experience. The customer service was friendly. Did not like the part where we had to pay an extra $25 in order to check in by 3pm. Especially since we were already at the check-in office at 2:15pm. They asked us to sit around and wait until it was 3pm just to get keys. The cabin was clean, there was some ants, but not a big deal.

Very nice house and excellent location. Could use some TLC and sprucing up inside. Especially would have been nice to have had someone with a blower to blow off the outside furniture so that it could be used. I mentioned this at checkout but not sure if it will get done. Really detracts from the house. Spa and grill were great Place needs a good cleaning

This is a review of 972 Lakeview Estate property. First of all, this property is all about the lake view. It is spectacular and was perfect to watch the fireworks out on the wraparound deck on Independence Day. The home was spacious and loved the pool table which was used a lot. Now for a couple of negative things: 1) Carpeting could use some updating in the bedrooms. 2) Speaking of the bedrooms, the details of this home are incorrect. The description states that all bedrooms are on the 1st level but ONLY the master bedroom is on the 1st level off of the living room. The other 3 bedrooms are downstairs. 3) For such a lovely home, the television in the living room needs a serious upgrade to a flat screen instead of the old, heavy behemoth. Some channels were very choppy as well. 4) Although the view is amazing, the west facing windows in the living room had no curtains or blinds to block the glare and heat from the sun which hit in the mid-afternoon to evening. It made watching TV nearly impossible. We had to find blankets to hang up. 5) Lastly, the toilet in the #2 Queen bedroom downstairs didn't work. The valve that flushes the toilet was broken. To flush the toilet, you had to take the lid off the tank, reach into the water and pull the stopper. It wasn't a huge deal but hopefully it is fixed now as I mentioned this to the staff when I checked out. Thank you, Darrel C

We really enjoyed our stay at 1529-Cedar Pines. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and in a tree-filled friendly neighborhood close to the village, shops, and ski resort. We saw five or six species of birds, squirrels, and chipmunks. The only reason I am not giving five stars is that the living room could have used another chair and a coffee table or ottoman, and there was no access to the nicely fenced back yard except from the front door and then down a narrow path.

The only problems were the sound of the heater when it kicked on. It was so loud, and sounded like someone was hitting a metal pot over my head with a wooden spoon. This happening all night made it impossible to sleep. once I turned the heater off, the smoke alarm kept beeping about every 20 minutes from a low battery is my guess. The cabin itself was very nice.

Overall the house was nice and clean. The only thing was that the kitchen was not stocked up with general items such as plates and cups. There wasn't any paper towels or extra toile paper. We were there for 3 days and had to purchase those extra items. However, the house was nice since it was great for kids with the family room and very "homey"
