Good space and location for our trip. Lack of kitchen cutlery and cooking supplies so come prepared if you want to make a meal. Also bring your paper towels. Besides that great time.

We love that this place is a walking distance to Snow summit. Place is clean with clean towels and linens. The only thing that I can complain about is there was only one toilet paper for our 3 day, 2 night stay for 6 people. Other than that, We will come back to this house.

Very fast check in, location of the cabin could not be better if you are skiing in the snow summit mountain, Heat was working ok but normally all the cabins have blenders but mine don't :(

Management staff were wonderful. Cleaning could have been better for the cleaning fee charged.

The cabin was spacious and comfortable. We could have had some dishwasher and washing machine detergent. Also, we brought DVD's from home but there was no DVD player. Other than that, the place was in a good location and the amenities were nice. i especially liked the back porch and enclosed yard.

We stayed in the Robinhood cabin, which was very cozy and comfortable. Everything was nicely updated and upkept well. The only thing I would suggest is to put some type of heating upstairs as it can get pretty cold up there with only blankets. Other than that I loved and and would stay again.

We checked in around 2:00pm on a Friday and left at check out at 10:00am on Sunday the weekend after Thanksgiving. The cabin location was fantastic. It was on the South side of the lake across from the observatory and just left of Gibralter Point. There were no cabins between us and the water, so it was like our own little personal bay where we could get out and enjoy the weather and take the dog for a walk. The neighbors were nice and the area was quiet. The cabin fit the 4 of us fine - 2 adults sharing a bed and one bed each for the 14 year old and 8 year old. Each room had two beds (1 queen and 3 Fulls)and each room had an attached full bath. Hot water was quick to turn on, but the kitchen faucet was hooked up backwards, so we thought the sink wasn't generating any hot water until we tried the cold side. No big deal. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars was for 2 reasons. The first was the heater in the room to the left of the front door when you walk in would make a loud bang each time the heat kicked on. We only noticed it after we got back on the first night and turned it on before bed. It got down to 30 degrees and we kept the heaters on around 65. Every hour or so, it sounded like a gun shot which would wake us up. We didn't get a lot of sleep the first night, since we didn't turn it off as we weren't sure how cold it would get. It turned out that the blankets were enough so we didn't use the heater on the second night then let the fire go and turned up the heater in the front room a little. The other issue was the bathroom sink in the same room was easy to clog and would take a couple of hours to drain. Since the sinks are so small, you could only run the water for short bursts which was a little annoying. Had to be careful when using it, or it would over flow. Aside from these 2 issues, everything from the check in process to the check out process was smooth and the people were friendly. As stated earlier, the location was great and access to the village and down town was easy and not too far, although it was an extra busy weekend due to the opening of Christmas season and the tree lighting ceremony. Traffic was a major issue with cars backed up all down Big Bear Blvd, but that's not Big Bear Vacations fault. Overall it was a pleasant experience and we would definitely do it again. P.S. Although it isn't reflected in the review, it should be pointed out that the free WiFi was really slow and unreliable. Speed tests showed it was between 600Mbit/s - 1MB/s and the connection dropped a few times. Since the area had good 4G reception though, we just used that to check emails and things. While we're at it, the TV picture was pretty bad too. We didn't go to Big Bear for the free WiFi and basic cable though, so it really wasn't a big deal. Just thought it should be pointed out in case some one has a limited data plan and uses their phone a lot. Kevin Your review will be posted publicly on the web. Learn more

The staff at Big Bear Vacations were very nice & helpful! Our rental was enjoyable for our family during the Thanksgiving holiday. I would suggest updating the pans/cookware as the teflon coating is chipping off on most of the pans, & updating the bedspreads , as they are quite thin from being dated. otherwise if you don't mind a vintage type cabin with an amazing fire place , book your stay. Our Family enjoyed our little get away ! ;)

The home itself was quaint, well-appointed, and exactly what the two of us were looking for. Everything in the home worked well and with a chill in the air the two fireplaces plus the heater warmed the place sufficiently. Also, since no one booked the property the day we were leaving, we were graced with several extra hours, no cost, to check out. My only gripe, and it's a small one, is the neighbor's front yard to the right looked a little like it belonged in the Duke's of Hazzard. For a romantic getaway, it was just unfortunate to have to look at that every time we pulled up.

The cabin and location are awesome!! The staff are fantastic!! The bed however, is terribly uncomfortable. Bring your own pillows to start, but not sure what you can bring to make the mattress bearable. Still would recommend this cabin, because, well it’s a cabin and not a hotel!

This cabin was perfect for our 3 couples. The only problem was that there were tons of bees getting in the house constantly. Other than that, it was cozy and cute.

Hot tub lost power and lost water supply to master bedroom shower. In 15 minutes, maintenance person arrived and restored everything in 20 minutes.

Pretty cute place, great location, central to everything in town. Could use a few repairs/replacements (blinds/curtains torn and in bad shape, sliding doors didn't lock properly, recliner couch broken). Lots of spiders.

It was our first time in Big Bear and it was beautiful. We stayed in a great cabin called medicine man, it was very nice and we'll kept with the exception of the bad smell coming from the refrigerator. Other than that the place is great.

Had great stay for weekend but needs little more care because one of the bed is not flat and pet fur is all over the cabin.
