I don't know if it was a bad night or if it was the fact we had a group order, but unfortunately we received very small portions for our money's worth and found that our order was missing food.
If anything the food that we did have was good but could have been better.
I wanted to like this place and hoped it might turn up some good results but have been disappointed.
Maybe a second visit in the near future might offer some of the charm everyone talks about?

Soda and shake were very delicious and well priced, two stars taken off for how long it took. We took the drive through route because we were meeting up with people, and kids who walked in after we had ordered and waited a few minutes for their ice cream well before we got our sodas/shake. Overall, a good (but very hot) experience.

Great food and environment. The sandwich and salad were great. The three stars is solely due due their inexplicable slow service. We waited 80 minutes and only had half our food served. I would try this place again based off the yummy food but if the service was as slow the second time I will strike this deli from my records.

A decent place. Pretty clean. If you are passing through...and hungry, it's the best place in town. But that's not really a compliment.

The 20 minutes wait for a coffee, that was white in color, sickly sweet and had some kind of not asked for cookie pieces in it (gluten free btw), ended up in the trash. The visit was completely a buzz kill for a place I'd heard really good things about.
The employee dating life and gossip chats back and forth in front of me and other customers and not acknowledging when someone needs help, puts me saying, "Nah man, I'm good. I'll go to the Depot coffee shop 5 minutes away."
Cute place, just needs a training in professionalism.

Ordered a Wild West looking forward to grilled onions. Got what could pass as chicken bacon ranch- Lady said it doesn’t have onion. I showed the menu she said it isn’t updated. “ heard of markers?”
Aunt got salad with ranch small cup. Ranch was 2 oz and I asked for more lady said they don’t have more.
It’s tasty but good gracious I’ll go to a different place next time. 60$ for four of us

The dining room was cool but they had no music on so the silence was awkward. My Route 89 burger order was messed up and when I brought it up to get it fixed, the staff member said “Oh yeah, I noticed that.”. I thought it was weird he noticed my order was messed up but waited until I brought it to his attention to fix it; which he quickly did have fixed.
The sides were good, the shake was good but the burger was very plain as if the patty has no seasoning at all.
The food presentation is amazing and the portions are large! The burger was just terrible though. It was the most disappointing burger I’ve ever had because it looked so good. My wife and I couldn’t finish our burgers because it was flavorless.

I ordered their BBQ Bacon Burger. It had way too much fat for me. I also got the Roots 89 specialty drink. It was way too sweet for me. My digestive system did not agree with this stuff either. Fortunately, I got home before bad things started too happen.

Very expensive for some less than mediocre food. Maybe it was an off day because other reviews seemed to say the food was good. My burger was extremely dry, and very unseasoned. The sauce was only in the very center of the burger, to the point I thought there was no sauce until I got to the center. My friend’s burger was missing half the items that the menu described. The poutine wasn’t really a poutine, and didn’t taste very well either way. The chicken sandwich was dry and tough. Hardly any sauce on that one as well.
The location and style of the place is very lovely though. I enjoyed being there even though the food wasn’t great. Will probably try again to see if today just happened to be a bad day, as the place is really adorable.

This was our second visit. The first visit they put pickles on my mushroom swiss burger. Who puts pickles on a mushroom burger? Second visit the onion rings were nearly burned black. In addition, the two guys at the counter couldn't wait to get back to their phones. The floor behind the counter is filthy, and tables need to be wiped down. Yet these guys are scrolling. That is time they are stealing. You get paid to be at work, so work.

Bun was moldy, forgot my bacon on the burger. They did fix it immediately so appreciated that.

Food was only ok today (got to us a little cold and the sweet potato tots weren't crispy). Also, it was sooo slow! It took 5 employees a half hour to get our food to us. Sadly, it wasn't really worth the travel to Spring City this time.

I have been here before and the service and food were excellent but this visit was disappointing as far as service. Wasn't sure who was a worker and who was hanging out distracting the workers. The food was good once we got it which took longer than it has in the past. To much gabbing and video watching. I'm pretty sure the boys didnt work there and the girls did when they weren't busy giggling. This is my third visit here and I'm not sure I'll be back.

My wife and I were planning on going up north for Valentine's Day. On our drive up we started to hit a snowstorm and decided that we should turn around and just eat somewhere local. We didn't want to get caught going to slow in the canyon and leave a babysitter for hours with our kids. Roots is our usual go-to, even though lately they haven't been too consistent it's either really good or not so good. We happily went in ordered our usual happily paid 50 bucks for two burgers and a drink. Got our Burgers back and they look like this... I don't know what happened on Valentine's Day, neither of us could take more than a bite. It looks like they had dumped a whole vat of burger grease on my burger.... enough that I left a puddle in the container. Honestly, I'm really disappointed that we wasted 50 bucks on Roots.
Edit: The owner responded in a timely manner. They had a new cook on the grill with new food, and obviously, they were having a rough night. The owner was very understanding and helpful
