Words cannot do justice to the experience I had in Eastern Africa. From the moment we arrived, with David and Lewela waiting to swiftly take us to our ‘humble’ abode to the time we were bid farewell back again at the airport, every day was surprising in its own unique way.
All the astounding moments and sights - graceful lionesses who appeared just for us, lazying in the sun; little cheetah cubs who would just peep out of the tall grass wondering who these strangers were (us), a solitary 'chui' who stared right into our souls, to all the excellent hotels and the fabulous people - the privilege to view and meet was all ours. The highlight for me was the moment in the Serengeti wilderness in the dark of night with only little lamps to cut through the darkness, when I saw the Milky Way galaxy – a moment that was confounding, left me speechless and starstruck (literally)!
So, thank YOU - all the wonderful people of Micato - for a magical experience, or rather, lots of them!

Our 15 days safari to Kenya and Tanzania together with the family was by far the best experience ever. From landing to Nairobi airport to the 3 lodges in kenya and 2 in Tanzania, the Micato staff made us feel the most important customers they ever had. All practicalities were handled in the most professional way ,making sure we had absolutly no worries . Hakuna Mattata. When travelling on safari ofcourse you also meet other travellers , then you actually realize how much better everything is arranged by Micato. Big thanks to Johnson , our Safari Director. He was right ..At Micato it gets better every day. Thanks Micato for giving us the best time of our lives. Hope to come back soon.

We had the experience of a lifetime on our recent bespoke trip to India. in March/April 2024. the Micato team curated a superb experience for us - we spent 2 1/2 weeks of fascination and pleasure. We travelled with Micato in Africa in early 2020, and we are already dreaming of our next trip.

We just returned from the “Soul of India” tour with Micato. It was an amazing experience. Micato treated us so well. We not only saw the most iconic sites, but also got to experience the sights and sounds of real India. We stayed in what are literally the best hotels in the world. Our guide Sanjay was terrific: kind, extremely knowledgeable and very patient. Our drivers were amazingly adept at navigating the incredibly chaotic traffic. Our favorite sights were the Taj Mahal (which you could also see from the balcony of our hotel room), the tigers of Ranthambore National Park (although watching one throttle a spotted deer was, while a rare event, a little graphic), and the sacred city of Varanasi.
