The pasteis de nata are incredible. Buy the frozen ones as a gift for someone when you’re invited over for dinner. It’s unique and memorable.

Did an egg tart crawl with a friend, and this was hands down the best egg tart we had. The crust was light and flaky, the filling just the right sweetness, and the optional powdered sugar cinnamon added a unique flavor. Cannot recommend enough.

Amazing flavors, great taste and even better than found in my hometown. I love when they visit the local feasts and festivals here in MA. We load up the freezer to continue to indulge for months. I think its time for a MA location.

This is the best place to get Pasteis de Nata (Portuguese Custard Tart) in New York City. I found out about this place cuz my friend specifically requested me to bring their pasteis de nata to Boston last weekend. After I tasted theirit, I wished I knew about this place earlier. The service is amazing, and the lady at the shop is super friendly. If you are in Essex Market, or near any other locations, definitely give it try.

I can see why someone would eat 18 of these. I have no pics. The pasteis disappeared

First of all, the sister of the owner was there. And she was the kindest person I have encountered in NYC. Also the egg tart was so good! It is like a sports bar vibe, so it does not look like a café. 4 dollars for egg tart can be bit expensive but hey it is cheaper than to go to Lisbon.

I tried these at the San Genarro Festival last year and got hooked. They are a delicious decadent treat. I highly recommend them. I have shared them with several friends and everyone loves.

Neat spot in the Chelsea Market to get a quick snack. Both the traditional and dark chocolate pasteis were great; would recommend.

This rating is based on my experience from winter market in Bryant Park. They serve a very good and tasty custard tart. I had it when it was fresh out from the oven( I believe it was frozen and reheated). For me, the sweetness was perfect with the hint of cinnamon sprinkle on top. the staff was very lovely. I definitely will go to their real cafe in town next time I visit NYC and try it freshly baked out of the oven.
