Whilst visiting the Chelsea Market in NYC, my dear wife mentioned that she had found a Portuguese tart shop, and they were so delicious that she bought a second immediately after eating the first. That sounded promising so I followed up with a purchase of my own.
There are a few taste sensations I forever remember, a steak I ate in Pretoria, a wanton noodle soup I slurped up in Singapore, a quesadilla I devoured in San Francisco … well I now have another one to add to the list. This tart was perfect. I live in Sydney but I’ll be back in NYC some time to get another one of these. Yowzer.
