Suzette was amazing. She had a great big smile and was very welcoming. The pastel de natas were exquisite and I suggest the chocolate also if you’re a fan. I urge you to check them out. I will be coming back for sure!

After operating as a pop-up for two years. Joey Bats Café opened its first brick-and-mortar location, in 2018 on Allen Street NYC, their Portuguese inspired signature pastry Pastéis de Nata are Portugal's most popular pastry and were created in Lisbon in the early 1800's!
Have been going there since 2019, the Café is always bustling with fashionista, showbiz industry types, along with amazing pastries and delicious coffee ☕️
Fun fact, when the waitress brought over the plate of pastries, I asked for Coffee and water, her comments was “ Water in your Coffee?!”that really put a big smile on my face…
Soo goOd! Will definitely buy more of this deliciousness.

Delicious original pasteis de Nata! Very fast as well and I will definitely be back! Also they sell them frozen so you can take lots home!
