We were excited to see the addition of True Food Kitchen at the Reston Town Center. WE have enjoyed their fresh food in their Arlington and Fairfax locations so it was nice to find this new location closer to Ashburn.
Reservations were easy to make and we arrived early and were seated pretty soon.
Its summer so check the menu before coming in case you wanted a favorite not being offered.
Large and spacious inside with a functioning bar now. Nice music although ACs were cold and a few of us got some heat back on. Also has outdoor seating.
Andrew was our server helped by others through the evening with only 1 mix up on appetizers. He was resourceful, taking pictures and helping the bar out with our drinks.
For appetizers we enjoyed the edamame guac and charred cauliflower. For main courses the grilled salmon and pan seared sea bass were excellent choices with vegetables.
The chicken and sausage pizza was deemed average because the sausage was grinded not links as expected.
Drinks were good with the pool party and stella.
For dessert it’s a short menu but the chocolate flourless cake with ice cream was delicious.
A very good first visit and we expect to be back.

Wait staff was amazing, you never were waiting long for anything and I had the bike bowl. It was really fresh and alot of great flavor. Everything is reasonably priced. Definitely coming back!!!

Upscale but casual. Food is so light and flavorful. Fresh herbs in every bite.
During my visit I ordered the charred cauliflower and a chicken and mozzarella pannin with a watermelon lemonade.
The charred cauliflower was sweetened with dates,nuts and herbs and finished with a smoky flavor
The chicken mozzarella pannin was excellent, every bite was full of gooey cheese and fresh tomatoe, served on crisp pita instead of bread. With this I also ordered a kale salad that was sweet and tangy and truly completed the main dish so well.

They had indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonably priced. Some of the menu items were seasonal. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. The waitress was able to tell us exactly where everything was sourced from. Overall it seemed a lot of their offerings would be light and refreshing (even the Chicken Parm which was one of the items we ordered). That said we still were full at the end and had to get to go boxes. A lot of things seemed to have a different take on a traditional dish. We ordered bar drinks which we also enjoyed. We noticed they also had a decent amount of non-alcoholic drinks/mocktails. Service was good, friendly, prompt. Will be back again to try brunch. Insta: Liquidmoon

So. Freaking. Good. Sat outside on one of the hottest days thus far and didn't care that I was sweating into my food, it was so good. Amazing menu that everyone from vegans to carnivores will enjoy, and the inside is big and bright and beautiful. Also, you must get dessert. My friends and I each had something different and each loved what we had! Oh and for Pride Month, they have a craft cocktail called the Causemo that is unbelievable as well. My new go-to at RTC.

We loved our food!! Every bite was outstanding. My 8 year old loved the kids pizza which was a good value for the amount of food. The chocolate desert was ridiculously delicious and decadent. As a person who values clean food, TFK is a gem of a find!

Prompt service. Delicious food. Excellent drinks. Clean restaurant and it is very hard to give 5 stars but everything was on point. I ordered the apricots & bourbon cocktail, the monarch cocktail, charred cauliflower appetizer, and shrimp tacos with kale salad--all amazing . The cauliflower, kale salad, and bourbon drink were my favorites
