I was very please with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Serena was very patient with me especially since this was my first encounter with hearing aids. Craig made me feel right at home and gave me lots of background information that I don’t think I’d get at a big box store.

My experience with the Earlens doctors and staff at the Menlo Park hearing center was exceptional. The doctors were attentive and sociable as well as experts in their advice and guidance. I am 76 and just one month ago got my first hearing test since being a Navy recruit in bootcamp in 1966. The results of my latest test were not good. I needed hearing aids to not only stave off dementia but to play music without losing the beat, pitch and chord changes. I wrote the following the morning after getting my hearing aids: ==================================================== Yesterday I had my first experience with hearing aids. My world abruptly changed from a soft gentle world of sound to an overwhelming intrusion of noises. Clicks, beeps, chings and scratches at a volume that wasn’t what I had become to accept as normal. I am 76 and a month ago I had my hearing tested. The results were not good. The doctor stated I was an ideal candidate for hearing aids. I felt saddened by the news and skeptical of the doctor and his motives. Were they aimed at my well being or his business profit? I immersed myself in music since retiring over 10 years ago. I learned to sing and play the guitar. I was happy. Until I watched recordings of myself and noticed that I would sometimes sing off pitch. I was off on rhythm when singing with a band. Something was amiss. I wasn’t able to recognize the chord changes in a jam session. By the time I was able to discern the chord, the song had moved on. The drive home from the clinic was daunting. I left feeling a sense of acceptance of my plight. But also a determination that I was going to follow the advice of the doctors. Wear the hearing aids everyday, all day and you will become comfortable with them. Last night I felt a sense of relief as I removed the hearing aids and put them in their charger for the night. I dosed off in a welcome quiet with a bit of dread knowing that in the morning I would again have my sound world bombarded with noises that I couldn’t identify the source. This morning I dutifully put in the aids and started my day. Yes, the world was again at a volume I was not accustomed. But I noticed that the dread I felt the night before was not present. I was almost eager to form a relationship with my hearing aids. I concentrated on the sounds and began to identify where they originated. I giggled at my experience. “That sound was water coming from the faucet. Another sound was the cup of coffee setting down on the marble slate.” Holy moly, my world exploded in sound. Every morning I write stream of consciousness in the Julia Cameron style of ‘Morning Pages.’ The front entrance slider was open to allow some fresh air to circulate into the stuffy house. While writing I heard a ‘beep.’ I dismissed it as one of the phantom sounds I would need to tolerate. Until a tiny bird hopped into view. ‘Cheep’ as the bird went on its morning quest. Then a bit lounder ’squawk.’ A jay landed and announced his presence. The pen scratched its way along the paper as I continued on writing with an inner smile. Thank you to the doctors and staff at Earlens for their expert attention and knowing advice. Today is a new day. ====================================================

I was not happy with the service provider, Dr Elizabeth Mitchell. The doctor was not receptive and calibrated my hearing aid incorrectly. I could not talk on the phone or hear in a busy environment when I left the office. I feel she was more interested in selling me additional equipment and/or services than taking care of my immediate needs. This required me to make a return trip with an hour drive each way to have another doctor correct the calibration two days later. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. Two days later, I returned to the St Louis location and met with, Amber Scott, Patient care coordinator, and Dr Michael Rude, remotely, to recalibrate my hearing aid. Dr Rude was very concerned and caring. While he was limited by remote care, he did everything he could to correct the calibration so I could hear at my upcoming 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Both Amber and Dr. Rude worked to arrange a hearing test and additional calibration at a Florida location so my hearing would be it's best for my celebration. They consulted with Lori Klingensberg, an audiologist, and an Earlens representative Ken to get me the very best results. They were both amazing. I couldn't ask for better service. Dr. Rude, personally sent flowers to congratulate our 50th wedding anniversary and followed up on my care. What an amazing man. I hope Earlens realizes what a great team they have. The Earlens product and the specialized care over the last three years have made a profound impact on my hearing life.

I had a wonderful and impressive experience with Ear Lens staff. They were extremely patient and polite while collecting information for the service request. After making the appointment, they sent periodic follow up reminders of the upcoming office visit. During the office visit, they were so welcoming and looked forward to helping us with our request. We worked with Serena and she was a great problem solver and was knowledgeable when answering our questions. She was resourceful in helping us download the app on the phone and went over the nuances very clearly. We left their office feeling completely satisfied. We would recommend Ear Lens without hesitation to anyone who wants their hearing problems addressed. Great place!

I saw the group of specialists at Earlens in Lawrenceville, NJ, yesterday and couldn’t be more pleased. The team was top notch, extremely skilled and knowledgable. They made me feel very comfortable with them as well as the choices we made together. I came away knowing I was in great hands! I look forward to getting my new hearing aids next week and know the journey will be a good one. I don’t remember the name of the gentleman who was with us virtually, but he was absolutely amazing, as was Tonya and the office assistant. I wish my other specialists were as compassionate and helpful as this team was. I‘m glad I made the choice to go to Earlens and look forward to better hearing real soon!

From the moment I arrived at the clinic, where I was seen to promptly and courteously, I felt I was in the hands of professionals. Dr. Munoz, the ENT doctor, saw to the fitting of my lenses. Joyce Crawford, the audiologist did extensive audio testing and fine-tuning of my device. I left knowing my impaired hearing was as good as it was going to get, thanks to their efforts and the superior technology of my Earlens device.

The staff has been very polite and efficient. The hearing aids have been great.. the only part of the process that was painful is when the forms for my ears was taken it was painful. I'd love it if Earlens used a 3d mapping pen like my dentist. All's good.
