You know your not buying a Specilized, but basic customer care is non-existent here.
My mother, in all her love for her son who cannot drive, purchased a FX 2 for me for Christmas in 2023. My mother is 75, knows nothing about ebikes, and they recommend one that has known battery issues.

That is a quick google search for the battery issue.
Anyway, we will get back to that later.
The bike was fun, but I needed to take it in for its first tune up as you do with all bikes. The gears needed tuning and the front mud guard kept coming off. So I took it in;
A weeks wait, sure, a bit long, but not too bad.
Rock up a week later and they have done the repair to another bike, not mine. They do the repair, rush it, do not fix the front mud guard as I had asked which leads to me almost having a crash when the mud guard support tries to catch in my spokes. The mud guard is ruined, so I take it off and throw it away as I am unable to carry it home.
Then the charger stops working. As mentioned before, this is a known issue with the bike. See the above link.
The two mechanics I speak to say they have never heard of the issue before. SO either they are lying, or incompetent.
Cut to 6 weeks ago and I am unable to pick the bike up due to having a medical procedure. I am told that someone will be able to drop my bike to me, no problem. They will call with the details.
Wait 2 weeks. Call again. Talk to the manager who sold the bike to my mum, said sure that's no problem, he will call me with the details. Wait another two weeks and someone calls my mother, who has not been apart of ANY of this since the initial purchase, to say the manager has left and they cannot drop the bike off.
TL;DR; they will sell you a product with a known issue, not complete work when they say they will, do said work poorly which results in damage to the bike, and fail to follow through on what they say the will do.
Go anywhere else.
