I absolutely recommend this course. They cover every aspect of the exam, and their study tips are on point. I am not a great test taker to begin with, but the combination of their books, online classes and practice test and exams got me ready to go, and I am glad to say I passed. The course may seem daunting, it is 21 books, but their classes cover everything, and it is really easy to use. My one piece of advice, follow their advice. Study the books, use the classes and take the quizzes and tests. Sure you can take short cuts and just take the classes, but their practice quizzes and tests really help you get ready for the real deal. Worth every penny. Without a doubt.

I have years of development experience, but have limited field knowledge in construction. I had no confidence I could ever pass this exam. Ron assured me I was wrong. Upon deciding to get a TN BC license I did a lot of online research trying to decide what best suited my needs. I am so grateful I found these guys! I had purchased the books and study courses from another company and was a couple weeks out from taking the Business Law exam and didn't have the confidence level to take the test. I came across My Contractors License couple of years ago but, was really tied up to contact them and take the step forward. Finally, I decided to call them up last Summer and get the things set up for me. I had previous experience of this exam but, was no where close to being prepared to pass the test. When I contacted MCL, Ron was my guy. He picked up the phone and quickly started guiding me on what I need to do to get ready. Remember, this is your fight but, MCL is your best companion and arsenal. They guide, direct and provide excellent opinion on how to tackle the exam and target the books. With over 3 decades of experience in the CM/GC field, the opportunity presented itself to begin a new chapter in my career as an owner. After the initial set ups for the business were started, the next item on the list was fulfilling the various State License requirements for CM/GC contractors. My clients have multiple facilities in numerous states through out the USA. I needed a resource that would achieve providing my company with a critical component of each individual State Board - the required testing of an applicant's knowledge and understanding of CM/GC work in those States that require this type of licensing. For the technical side of Licensing, that meant NASCLA. Keeping in mind that in additional to the technical side requirements, each State has an additional Business and Management test that also must be passed. You also must satisfy each individual States' Licensing Board requirements as part of your application. No guarantees the Board will approve you just because you passed the test. This is how is came to contact Ron at My Contractors License. The initial call with Ron was informative. No Hard Sell here. Each of my questions/items were discussed and reviewed until I was ready to move on to the next one. I was comfortable enough by the end of our discussions that I ordered the entire course that day. Please note, do yourself a favor and get the pre-printed tabs - just going through the process of sorting and applying them through out the materials is a good way to get familiar with all of different sections required. The overall cost is what it is. If you are not ready to look at it as an investment in yourself, then you really are not ready to own this type of business. The materials arrived in Mid- December, 2018. I also ordered the first State Business package for where my first application for Licensing will be sent. I took advantage of this very cold winter so far to stay in and work on the materials. I was fortunate to be able to devote a lot of time to studying. The 2019 updates to the course arrived on line through my Dashboard service(very informative). The end result - Pass my Business test in January of 2019, Passed the full NASCLA yesterday February, 2019. 1- there are a lot companies try to do what you do. But not even close,and it’s frustrating to spend your money and have them waste your time by missing target. And not having the right plan for you ,Ron and Howard are not only experience and knowledgeable but they care about what happens to you as you are trying to step up in your qualifications.when I discovered this company and went in the office and talked to Howard and Ron. I knew their program was going to help me cross this bridge. the way they prepare you. It’s almost guaranteed to pass. The day of the test I felt nervous but confident. I answered the almost 70 question in the first hour and a half. And left the harder ones and the plan question for last. I knew I had passed it after the 70 that I answered. All thanks to Ron & Howard. Please listen to these guys I passed both test first time. I have it made now. No more chasing contractors around. I now pull my own permit. I Passed! The proctor at the Mississippi PSI Exams said I was the first person he has ever seen pass the NASCLA exam on the first try. There were a lot of new questions so it is imperative you know your books and where to find the information.

My company asked me to take the NASCLA exam and after asking several colleagues which course to take they all told me that mycontractorslicense was the best. Before purchasing the course I called MCL and was surprised when a live/friendly person answered the phone. Neal was extremely helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. I purchased the NASCLA course and followed their directions. The course was easy to follow and I did all of my training on the internet. I loved the way the course gives you the option for a hint and guides you to which book will give you the information. Since the NASCLA exam is open book, the most important skill this course teaches you is how to quickly know what book to use to find your answer. Do not be fooled into thinking the NASCLA exam is easy since its an open book. There are 20 books and I saw more than 10 people fail this Exam because they didn't know which book to use to find the answers. I asked the people who failed the exam what course they took and they mentioned a few cheap courses that didn't prepare them well for the exam. You definitely get what you pay for and although the MCL is more expensive than others, it truly prepares you for the real exam. Again, I followed their exact directions and took the practice tests/exams and although I spent probably 60 hours on the course, I felt very confident going into the exam and the best part is...I PASSED THE EXAM.

If you want to save yourself time and money, work with this company and pass the exams the first time. Their program is excellent and I am so glad I used them.
