I’ve spent many nights and different True Food locations across the nation and this was by far my worse experience. I ordered an Ancient Grains Bowl. The food portion was small and cold. The mushrooms were not salted when sautéed. And th extra mushrooms I asked for were not given. The sweet potatoes were chewy. The experience was horrible and I could not believe it. Will not be eating at this location anytime in the future.

I use to be a fan of this place. The chicken wrap is a great dish. The last time we visited however, they forgot the chicken from my chicken teriyaki bowl. When I notified the waitress she apologized and gave me a bowl of boiled unseasoned chicken. This time, the chicken came in the bowl but was unseasoned. Too many disappointments. Other than this, every single time we are here it is very difficult to flag down a waitress or any help. They have no excuse now that restaurants are running at low capacity. The waitress all stand by the bar counter with their backs against the guests.

Let me start by saying that the service and appetizers were excellent. Two of the entrees we ordered (both variations of the ancient grains bowl) were also really good. The problem was with the other three entrees. One of the entrees was so over-salted as to be nearly inedible. The only flavor that could be perceived underneath the saltiness, was fishiness. Another of the entrees was a burger that was quite good overall but came out room-temperature which was disappointing. The last entree was the steak tacos. The accouterments were nearly flavorless and added nothing to the steak (which itself was barely seasoned). The steak itself, being the only taste-able component of the tacos was fine, but like the burger was room-temperature when it came out. Overall, the place seems like it has some good menu choices, but given my experience, I can't recommend it.

Nice ambience but mediocre food. Clearly, great care had gone in to choosing the decor. I had the sense that they were trying hard with the food, but it ended up bland and what flavor combinations there were seemed a bit off.

Across from Berryhill Tamales, adjacent to Grotto, NOT next to HEB. They need to update their google location. I don't understand this place! The food is just okay, but the prices do not reflect that (too high for what's being presented). Cool interior design, and very good management presence. The food is just bland and boring to me. We can eat healthy, clean food at home if that's the only appeal here. The only choice of seasoning seems to be chili peppers. Anything without peppers is void of flavor. Will try again someday, but have been there twice and not a fan yet.

Overly expensive for the amount of food you get just to try and fit in the Woodlands

Overpriced for the menu. Seems like an over glorified vegan restaurant. I'm probably wrong.

Overpriced and unflavored food and drinks. The quantity is less and calories are more. Few good things are the atmosphere, service and the fact they are using some organic vegetables.

Where are the broccolis? Just went for lunch, ordered an antioxidant tea and a teriyaki quinoa bowl. It looked promising, but I couldn't help but feel very disappointed when my plate arrived: very small portion and missing ingredients. For $24 (with tip), I know other places that offer much better value for money... I am still hungry!

I would say it quite expensive $$$ not $$. And customer service have to be better - in the middle of busy day manager just take all waiters to some kind of meeting for 10-15 minutes. Want to make an order or get your food from the kitchen - wait till manager satisfy his ego. Food preparation also strange some time - pad tai without spicy ingredients is spicy somehow...

I guess if you're into the all natural foods you would have a fantastic experience here regardless but as someone who appreciates healthy and tasty then this is not the place for you. I would truly believe that for the price you pay to eat here that the food would be more appealing, specifically the inside out burger.

I came in about 10 to 6pm and waited awhile for the waiter who finally came up and then looked down and said he had forgotten his apron after going to the restroom. (Good way to start a meal...the image of a slightly overweight man not washing his hands, then handling my food...yum!) I inquired about the $5 Happy Hour and was told by the waiter...Well it's 6pm so that's over. Actually it was a few minutes to six, so technically no, it wasn't, but he was too lazy or wanted a bigger tip I guess. I ordered the cucumber drink. It was OK. The one that Chobani serves in the Walmart not too far from here is actually better and much cheaper. ($5!) and the waiter kept trying to take it away like I hadn't finished it and kept asking me if I wanted to order another one. No, I want to drink the one I bought, so put it back down on the table! I ordered the guac and the spaghetti squash dish. Both were OK, but not spectacular, nor worth the price. The squash was covered in mozzarella and was somewhat swimming in grease. It was mainly squash and cheese with a few pieces of zucchini thrown in. Like the guac it really lacked flavor or even a hint of seasoning. The coffee drink I ordered was good, but it was lukewarm. And the flour less cake was pretty tasteless. I had to take on a second job just to pay for the meal, which came to around $50 with tip FOR ONE PERSON and no alcohol! I'll try one more time, but it's not worth the money if you ask me. Places like Zoes seem to be a better value.

I have to leave a review because the public needs to he informed. Today we ordered lunch and it came to us with bugs on it. We told the server, who took it to the back, removed the salad portion and RETURNED THE SAME FOOD THE BUGS WERE CRAWLING ON. We asked to speak to the manager who immediately tried to make it sound like it should be an expectation because after all the food has no pesticides. I explained I eat clean and when serving any food you need to wash it. So, obviously it was not washed. I am sick. I won't go back. Disgusting and not classy. GROSS!!! FYI listeria and all kinds of diseases are common on foods not washed.

This place has gone down hill over the years. My wife and I were first introduced to True Food Kitchen back in 2015 with the Galleria location. We were thrown back in our seats with the delicious food, outstanding service, and the mission for better health with anti-inflammatory foods. As we traveled we visited other True Food Kitchens and a few years ago we were excited one opening up closer to home in The Woodlands. From the start this location didn't meet my expectations from what I have experienced at other locations and about anger ago I quit coming. My wife on the other hand did. She talked to one of the managers here and he campaigned her to get my foot back in the door, so I did. Today, after our visit, my wife is finally on board with boycotting True Food in the Woodlands due to the poor quality of service, loud and obnoxious atmosphere, and the over priced menu for mediocre meals.

I was expecting more from this place. I ordered the cobb salad with chicken. The dressing was terrible. It was sour and didn’t resemble anything familiar. Also, it was covered in olives ( which I despise). Maybe other items are better, but this is not on my list of places to go in The Woodlands.

I placed an order online for pick up. I called when I left work to ensure it would be ready when I arrived. They didn’t even have my order when I got there and I then waited for 20-25 minutes for them to make it. The portions were laughable. We ordered two salads with protein ($20 each if not more) and the portion was that of a side dish. We were not full nor satisfied. I was sincerely disappointed. I love healthy options in town but this one missed the mark.

I go to this place often and today I found out they are killing the Bees, WTH! This is so inhumane and unacceptable. They are dying sticky in the honey they put outside.
