Our first experience with Northeastern Chimney was in 2019 when they expertly rebuilt the upper portion and the cap of one of our two chimneys. Based on that experience we scheduled a recent inspection that revealed the need for relining of the flue that vents our gas furnace through our other chimney . Because of existing flaws in the construction of this chimney, the flue relining proved to be a very difficult project, and Northeastern Chimney clearly met the challenge. They patiently and carefully dealt with each obstacle they encountered, and kept us informed of everything they needed to do step-by-step to complete the job. They were very careful and respectful of our property, and performed a thorough cleanup afterwards. Based on our experiences with Northeastern Chimney we would not hesitate to utilize their services again, and would highly recommend them for any type of chimney repair, restoration, or maintenance.

It all started when the gas company suspected a flue problem and required an inspection. Northeast came and did a complete inspection both from the furnace and the roof and determined a crumbling flue, not uncommon for older homes (1936). The live video was telling. While the repair was not inexpensive it was a needed investment in our home. We now have a fully sealed flue with liner and insulation attached to both the hot water heater and furnace units. The repair was done efficiently, cleanly and professionally. Thank you.

Northeastern Chimney is the best chimney service company I have ever used. I have been using them since 1985 and they never disappoint. Consistently, the workers are very professional and knowledgeable about how to keep the chimneys and fireplaces in excellent repair to keep my home safe. They advise thoroughly, take picture references to show me, and they do all repairs themselves. The workers are clean, wear booties in the house, and lay down tarps to walk on and use for the cleanings. There is not ever a spec of dust left behind. The cost for my annual cleaning is very competitive and reasonable. They call with reminders when the annual cleaning and inspection appointment is due so it's easy to make sure the furnace flue and other chimneys are always cleaned and checked regularly. They are always on time and work quickly and efficiently when present. I am confident when they leave that all safety checks are performed reliably to keep my home safe.
