Beyond chimney cleaning, we have used Northeastern Chimney for two masonry/repair jobs. First was lining the chimney with a stainless steel pipe. Three bids. They were the only company who had a staffer go up on the roof and look down the chimney. Other two bidders stood on the ground and used binoculars. Guess who won the bid? Second, they rebuilt the firebox in the fireplace which had developed cracks over the years. Nice installation job, clean, with minimal disruption to our household. I highly recommend this company.

Great chimney cleaning service!!

I had my fireplace cleaned, chimney swept and chimney cap etc. examined for an estimate on repairs. I was VERY HAPPY and IMPRESSED with the service! They were very professional. The lead technician/engineer was dressed nice with a photo id badge, wore a face mask (properly) and put on fresh booties before entering my home. Things were explained thoroughly and questions answered. The assistant technician, also wore face mask and booties and was very courteous and helpful. After the service was performed, everything was itemized clearly on the invoice and again explained to me. I also liked that I didn't have to ask anyone to wear a face mask or booties. I liked seeing the photo id badge visibly placed. In this stressful time of Covid, I felt safe with having them come into my house and perform this service.

Good service. A little pricey.

I was put on a waitlist for a chimney cleaning and was called back within a week to be offered an appointment in a few days. The gentlemen that came to work on the chimney were professional and efficient. They offered appraisals of other work that needed to be done and completed the chimney cleaning without issue. I like these guys. We used them the first year we moved into our house. They were very good but a tad pricey so I shopped around and found a cheaper company, but they had problems with scheduling, so then the next year another cheaper company. Those guys didn't even go up on the roof. I finally had the bright idea to go back to the company that was reliable and I was happy with in the first place. Very glad I did. I won't be switching again.

I've been dealing with some water leakage around my chimney somewhere...a contracting company thought they knew what was wrong but after two attempts to fix it, they were lost. I called NC and scheduled a level 2 chimney inspection. Their technician, Tom, was absolutely tremendous. He was very thorough, and made sure I understood everything he was doing, and everything he found. On his recommendations, I scheduled work, and Tom returned with Mike. The two of them were machines. They got the work done quick and efficiently. Best part, after the work was done I've seen no evidence of water leakage during the storms that have occurred. Office staff was helpful and courteous, everything was great. Highly recommend.
