I cannot be more pleased with my experiences with Northeastern Chimney. EVERYONE I dealt with was fantastic. They are honest, efficient, polite and professional. We first engaged them for chimney cleaning and to address issues relating to smoke coming in to the home. They worked to diagnosis the issue and offered solutions. I never felt that I was getting a "hard sell" or pressured to take the most expensive action. We worked together and finally decided to convert the fireplaces to gas. Communication throughout the process was clear and responsive. Work was on time and on budget. I used NEC for the first time in 2010 to repoint my chimney, and install a liner. It was NEC who recommended the new liner to help protect chimney from moisture created by boiler that was updated in 2006. I'm grateful to them for noticing the need for the liner. And I continue to use them yearly for cleanings. The tech's are always on time and do very neat work. Tom was most recent tech, and he was extremely polite and honored a coupon I held on to for a year!!

I was very pleased with the professional work completed by Northeastern Chimney Sweeps. They came to my loghome on three occasions. First, I needed a new damper because my old one was obsolete. This new one is ecological and all I have to do is pull a chain to open it everytime I make a fire. The technician gave me an estimate on chimney repair when I requested it since I knew that many of my bricks were crumbling. A second day, a crew of three men arrived early in the morning and worked all day until 7 PM installing 250 new bricks. They cleaned everything, washed my deck, and took away the rotted bricks. A third day a worker waterproofed my entire chimney on top and beneath the deck (both the new bricks and the old). All of the men who came gave me little tips on chimney and fireplace care. I was would highly recommend Northeastern Chimney Sweeps.

Excellent service, thorough and punctual (actually, they called ahead to ask if they could arrive earlier, which was a bonus). The Northeastern team cleaned our chimney and inspected the furnace, and talked me through their report step by step with the help of photos they took while inside the works and atop the house. Gary and Raymond spent most of they rebuilding a portion of my chimney taking time to be sure all was done properly even though weather was rather cold.
