GATEWAY 8 CHALLENGE 2025 Selected students from our Stage 4 & 5 cohort recently participated in the GATEway 8 Interschool Academic Competition at Macarthur Anglican School. Teams of eight tackled tasks inspired by Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligences, showcased their work, and battled it out in brain teasers – all while building problem-solving, teamwork and critical thinking skills. YEAR 10 BSTREET SMART ROAD SAFETY Our Year 10 students attended the bstreetsmart NSW event at Qudos Bank Arena. A powerful insight into the real consequences of risky driving. Students witnessed realistic crash scenes unfold, heard from people whose lives were changed forever by road trauma. The program aims to reduce youth road trauma by encouraging safe behaviour on the roads. #mamrelearning

YEAR 6 CANBERRA CAMP | Our Year 6 students took a trip to Canberra! In their visit they toured The War Memorial, had a tour of the Parliament House, a stop into the Australian Institure of Sport & experinced the fun of Questacon. They had an incredible time, enjoying a wide range of activities that made learning both fun and hands-on. The trip offered them the chance to explore new and exciting ways of learning, and they gained valuable educational insights along the way. It was an experience filled with discovery, creativity, and plenty of fun! #mamrelearning

MAMRE CADETS IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY Our Mamre Rural Fire Cadets recently took part in a two-day camp with the RFS, gaining hands-on experience in real-time fire operations and team-based simulations. They then shared what they’d learnt with our Junior School, leading fun, hands-on activities for Pre-K to Year 2 — from rolling hoses and exploring a fire truck to helping the little ones operate real hoses! It was a fantastic display of leadership, teamwork, and community spirit. Well done to our amazing cadets! 👨‍🚒👏 #mamrelearning

YEAR 5 BATHURST CAMP | Year 5 have had the opportunity to explore God’s creation and some of Australia’s rich history. Students took a trip on the Scenic Railway and SkyWay in Katoomba. They also visited Little Hartley where they learnt about church and the court system in the early 1800s. They participated in a mock trial and were locked up in an old holding cell. Once in Bathurst students enjoyed an evening of line dancing and participated in hands on experiences about the Gold Rush. These included learning about how gold was sourced, panning for gold and powering a bellows for the Blacksmith. A fantastic camp away! #mamrelearning

YEAR 2 VISIT SEA LIFE SYDNEY AQUARIUM Our Year 2 adventurers had a fin-tastic excursion exploring the wonders of the deep at the aquarium! They explored the unique habitats of underwater creatures and learn’t about the importance of protecting them. It was a day filled with discovery, wonder, and plenty of smiles! 🐟 🪼 #mamrelearning

NAIDOC WEEK AT MAMRE ANGLICAN SCHOOL Last week, Pre-K to Year 12 came together and participated in a series of activities for our annual NAIDOC Celebration Day. Students rotated through a variety of experiences that honoured and explored First Nations traditions, including Bush Tucker tasting, damper making, a Rainbow Serpent chalk mural, traditional games, bush walking, and much more. In line with this year’s NAIDOC theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision, and Legacy”, our students embraced the opportunity to learn from the past and celebrate the rich cultures and knowledge of First Nations peoples. It was a powerful day of connection, learning, and appreciation. 💛🖤❤️ #mamrelearning

After weeks of preparation & the course of learning throughout the school year, our Year 1 students created projects showcasing their creative arts & writing skills. INFANT DAY CAMP | Our Junior School students had an unforgettable incursion exploring the outdoors, building shelters, learning fire safety, assembling tents, and even competing in fun catapult challenges as well as a sleepover at school ! They worked together as teams, honed problem-solving skills, and connected with nature in a whole new ways! 🌞🌿 A huge thank you to all the teachers for leading the activities and making it such a fantastic experience for the kids! #mamrelearning

98, 99, 100 days of Kindergarten! 🍎 This is just the start of our learning journeys! We’ve celebrated 100 days filled with laughter, friendship, ABCs, 123s, and learning about the love and story of Jesus, with so many new discoveries. Our students came up with some very creative, 100-themed costumes that were truly inspiring, and we are so thankful to our amazing staff for making this celebration so special. SYDNEY SCIENCE PARK STEM SCHOOLS CHALLENGE LAUNCH 2025 Our selected Year 4, Year 9 and 10 students took part in the Launch of “Sydney Science Park STEM Schools Challenge”, where they began tackling real-world challenges through design thinking. Students had the opportunity to work-shop alongside industry experts as they explored innovative ideas to help shape a more sustainable and liveable future for our local area. Our students used design thinking to generate ideas for the future of our local area and the future of education. 🌏 This launch event sets the stage for the upcoming “Field Day to Sydney Science Park", which will be held next to the site of our new campus.
