Fast Food Fast! Pheasants run like the wind … and fly even faster. When you bring one down, the thrill continues in a culinary sense. Few creatures eat better! But sometimes – whether it’s a camp or tailgate meal soonafter, or a weeknight meal down the line – a hunter just wants a fast-and-easy but delicious cooking approach. What’s your favorite fast, simple and easy way to prepare pheasant? We’re looking for your ideas to feature in a story for Winter’s Pheasants Forever Journal. Write up your approach (editing services are free 😊), use “Fast Food Pheasants” in the subject line and send it to Editor Tom “Carp” Carpenter at tcarpenter@pheasantsforever.org by September 13. In the spirit of it all, your concept should be at most a paragraph or so, with a limited ingredients list. If you have a recipe that’s quick to get ready but then you can walk away and let it do its thing in oven or crockpot, or stovetop, go for that too. Include a picture if you have one. We’ll put the best concepts in the Journal and your reward will be the glory … and the appreciation of pheasant eaters everywhere 😉. – Carp. #pheasantsforever #wildgamecooking #wildgamerecipes
