Mount Carmel Catholic College has had a challenging yet competitive start to the Marist Basketball Carnival in Melbourne, securing one victory in their first five matches. Despite mixed results, Mount Carmel has shown resilience and has been super competitive in every match. Next up are 2 matches against Marist Kogarah and Sion College Warragul to fight it out for the spirit cup final. We wish the team the best for the remaining games!

At Monday's assembly, Murray House were awarded the trophy as the overall winners from the swimming carnival. We also acknowledged our students who recently completed their training to become Eucharistic Ministers after completing their training with Bishop Brian in Wollongong theTuesday before. Congratulations all round!

The Diocese offers many pathways to students in sport, creative arts and other extra-curricular. Last week, the boys Diocesan Football Championships were held at the College with a number of visiting Marist schools in attendance. Our boys won this contest of the day but were not the overall winners. At great day was enjoyed by all visitors and spectators.
