Last week the College celebrated Harmony Day, embracing the rich cultural diversity that makes our school community so vibrant. As a Catholic school, we are called to live out the values of respect, inclusion, and love for one another. Together, we recognise that everyone belongs.

Recently, at our Year 7 Open Day—perfectly timed with upcoming Science Week next month—we showcased an experiment originally carried out in 1991. Talk about a throwback! ⚡
Using electricity to make your hair stand on end is always a crowd favourite, and it was fantastic to see so many curious minds getting involved.
A big thank you to our lab technician for kindly demonstrating this classic experiment!

End of an Era!
1990 was a milestone year. In June, Brother Clarence was honoured with the Order of Australia Medal, recognising his outstanding service to education and the community. In August, he announced his retirement. With building works completed and the high school celebrating its first full cohort of students from Years 7–12, the school had reached an important stage in its development. After 37 years serving as Principal across a variety of schools and locations, the time had come for Brother Clarence to step down.
It was announced that the next Principal would be a Marist Brother, and Brother Neville was appointed to lead the College into its next chapter.
