A note from Abby Wilson Thank you to our police. “I’m so thankful for our police officers! My mom and I were in Cullman at the section of Hwy. 31 and Hwy. 157 and my Highlander cut off on me. I was totally panicked since that had never happened before, especially in a busy intersection! Officer Joey Duncan with Cullman PD was extremely helpful and friendly! He stayed with us while the towing company came, and my dad came to pick us up. I was so appreciative that a terrible situation for me turned into appreciating our law enforcement even more than before. Thanks so much, Officer Joey!”

The Cullman Police Department has taken 9 reports for Unlawful Breaking and Entering Motor vehicles this Saturday before Easter in just eight hours, and that’s just the people who call because something of value was stolen out of the car. Others are not reporting the incident because the vehicle was just gone through, and nothing was stolen. ALWAYS take your wallets, purses, and GUNS out of your vehicles at night. It takes less than 20 seconds for someone to open a door, check under the seats, glove box, and center console and take everything.
