City: Nacula Island, Yasawa Date: 6 - 8 Feb 2025 Nights: 2 nights This hotel is truly exceptional, situated on the stunning Yasawas Island. Our stay here has been nothing short of remarkable; it ranks among the best accommodations we've ever experienced. The standout feature of our visit has been the incredible staff and management, who made us feel warmly welcomed. We can genuinely feel the love and vibrant spirit of Fiji all around us in this enchanting place. It's a very practical hotel in a very strategic location, and there are different options to arrive from the mainland; one can do so via helicopter or via ferry. We highly recommend the helicopter as there is a magnificent trip and opportunity to see the islands from the air. In any case, if you decide to go by ferry, get ready for a 5-hour trip and take seasickness pills to make sure that you don't feel bad. Services / team: The team is exceptionally, in fact, one of the highlights of our trip as they made us feel very welcomed. They make a difference; as we stayed in other hotels on other islands, we found out that the staff at Blue Lagoon are fantastic, starting from the manager and the entire team in general. Check in process: The check-in and check-out process was exceptionally smooth. Everything is well organised and the check-out is at 10 am, but it depends on what time you are planning to leave; Everything is very well coordinated with the ferries or other resorts. Rooms: We stayed in a villa that is perfect for a couple, but there's a third single bed in case you are travelling with kids. There is an outdoor bathroom and it's very spacious. Nice bed and a very large outdoor bathroom with very good shower pressure. Internet connection: the internet connection is good in all the communal areas of the hotel and also very fast in the room. Cleanliness: all the locations in the hotel are well maintained and clean at all times. Pool: They have 2 pools; one is situated at the heart of the hotel, with a beautiful view of the beach, and the other pool is at the back of the hotel. This pool is very quiet, modern, and beautiful. Both pools have very clean and comfortable sun beds, and you can have a great time. Highlights: We truly enjoyed our time here and we would love to come back as soon as we can. A big kudos to the manager who creates a fantastic atmosphere and makes us feel the real Fijian vibe. Rate: We highly recommend this hotel and would love to return if the opportunity arises. It offers excellent value for the price, and they provide a great set of activities, including snorkelling, diving, and visits to nearby attractions.

Our Christmas & New Year staying at the Blue Lagoon Resort was very special & we all had a wonderful experience. Our family with teenagers stayed in the Palm Villa & my husband & I stayed in a Beachfront Villa, both were exceptional. The room service staff cleaning our rooms daily, made sure we were comfortable. We all loved our accommodation & enjoyed the amazing relaxing views of the lagoon , swimming & snorkelling at your door step & having a cocktail watching the beautiful sunset. Even with a couple of rainy days it was very special & comfortable. Cesare, the General Manager & his Asst General Manager were so friendly & mixed with all the guests, creating an extra friendly experience, going out of their way to make sure we were all enjoying our holiday. The extra friendly dining staff, always with a big smile, were happy to assist whenever we made a request – making our holiday one to remember. Too many great staff to name however the Fijian dancing & singing were exceptional the boys in the band were great & very talented creating a very happy atmosphere, even taking part in the pool volley ball. New Years Eve was extra special with the amazing buffet dinner presented personally by the amazing chefs. The disco created a happy atmosphere & lots of fun . The fireworks at midnight certainly were a great surprise to introduce the New Year & I must say spectacular, exceeding our expectations. Dining in the Blue Lagoon restaurant was quite the gourmet Fijian experience with five course dinners & even two eight course dinners. The chefs do an amazing job, once again too many to mention. Breakfast & lunch were also amazing with something to suit all, including vegetarian, great curries & special 'pie of the day' & the everyday kids specials such as KFC style 'Bula Burgers'. I must add we were very spoilt with the choice of delicious desserts. A BIG THANK YOU to the Management & staff at the BLUE LAGOON RESORT for a very memorable holiday.
