It took us five hours to get to this place from Nadi. The sea was even more beautiful compared to other islands, and we encountered many marine creatures while snorkeling. As for the room, I’m not sure if it was due to the frequent rain, but there was a slight moldy smell. Although the room had been cleaned, the sheets had not been changed. As for the food, it was just okay for the price. It was 380 Fijian dollars per person for two days with three meals included. That was the only option, so it ended up being an unexpected cost. The Japanese place, Donu, had really good service, but the Ocean Beach Front restaurant was awful. There was trash in the breakfast pancakes, and dinner took forever to come out. They even served people who arrived after us first—no consideration at all. We ordered a coffee, but had to wait about 20 minutes for just coffee, and it wasn’t even that good. The staff seemed friendly at first, but it felt like just a show. The service wasn’t great. Overall, it was disappointing.

Very friendly divemaster and boat crew. Good equipment. The low rating has to do with an excessive fee charged for transport. We are staying in a resort on the other side of the island (less than 10 min boat ride), and we were charged $80 for "transport" for two people. This was only communicated after being picked up and ready to go. We were picked up by what I suppose was a water taxi, but dropped off by the dive boat itself. This was an unnecessary and overly expensive fee. If you are not staying in blue lagoon dive shop, make sure you shop around for the transport there.
