My little dog was diagnosed with atopic dermatitis. I thought my poor dog would have to live on steroids for the rest of his life! But the vet was reassuring about the treatment and it didn't have to be steroids. I am so happy with his treatment and care. my little dog looks very well and healthy. I can definitely recommend Goddard's at Mandeville.

My puppy needed urgent attention this week after swallowing an earring - he was seen promptly and after needing an operation to remove it, he was kept in for 2 days and I can not fault any part of the care he received. I was kept updated on his progress, what procedures they were doing and he was really well looked after. Dr Sunil was absolutely brilliant and always called when promised. He returned my calls so quickly and put my mind at ease. You can tell how much he cares for the animals. Could not recommend highly enough. My dog is now on the mend and I am so grateful to the team and especially Sunil. Thank you so much

We have been using Mandeville for over 2 years now for our rabbit Barnaby. Annual vaccinations are carried out really professionally and they take the time to properly check his wellbeing, including advice on the latest vaccines available for him. Would highly recommend.

We had a check up with Abigail Stout as our kitten had diarrea. They took kitten inside and the vet called me over the phone I explained that kitten had diarrea for 4 day we gave to the kitten pro kolin and it had not helped. The vet proposed us to give worm treatment and come back to see how it improves and after if it doesn't help the vet would advice to make blood test. I insisted to make the blood test straight away as we did not wanted our kitten to suffer. The vet warned me that they will shave her neck from one side to take the blood. When the nurse brought the kitten I was not informed that they had not managed to take the blood(We were expecting the blood result on Monday) she was scared, the paw was bleeding, the neck was shaved from both sides and it was visible that vet and nurse pearced her 7-10 times. When I saw kitten I called straight away to the reception. When the receptionist connected me with Vet she informed us that they had not managed to take her blood analysis as she was nervous. We were very disappointed with their service and after this we would not come or recommend to anyone.

Only interested in making profit they put that before the welfare of your animal. Not what any pet owner is looking for in a vet.

My 4 year old pug had scratched his eye and had been receiving treatment at our local vets, but they referred us here for a specialist appointment with Dr Sally Turner the opthalmolagist. The pre-appointment detail of the Covid procedures was very clear and the whole staff stuck to the guidelines really well. I was clearly nervous for the health of my wee guy but the staff and especially Dr Turner were fab. My consultation was done via the phone in the car park while my dog was in the surgery. The information was really clear, reassuring and I was instantly put at ease by Dr Turner's clear expertise. We don't make many visits to vets (thnakfully) but this was by far the best service we have had. Thank you for looking after him so well!

I am extremely grateful to surgeon Robert Dudley who performed surgery on my dog. My dog had a dislocated hip which required rather complex surgery. Surgery was difficult but went well. I am amazed at how quickly my dog has recovered. Just 3 days post op my dog was happy and walking an all fours again. He continued to improve every day. It has now been 6 weeks post surgery and he has been officially discharged after his last check up. My dog is now walking, running and jumping as if nothing had ever happened. My experience has been a very positive one. I had no issues at any point. The staff at the hospital have been very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this veterinary hospital! :)

My cat went in to be neutered and as soon as she came back home she had a terrible cough - This continued for several months so we brought her back in to discuss this and we were told they needed more proof that she had damage to her throat?? This was several years ago and my cat still struggles with her breathing and constantly sounds like she has a really bad mucus cough. I can only think they messed up when putting the tube down her throat for the operation. Do not trust these people with your loved pets!!
