Better Places to go…!! Drove past this practice today and it reminded me of the poor treatment they gave my Jack Russell some years back. Vaccinations are a little over priced, not the friendliest place if memory serves me right. Bought a pet passport which became obsolete a few months later ( no fault of the practice ) but cost us close to £200. My Jack Russell kept having nail issues, they failed to diagnose the problem, paid to get the nails cut only to told by the vet that some of the nails didn’t need cutting, but a day or so later had to return on another emergency appointment to have his broken nail removed ( yes the ones they failed to cut ) Shame really, want to see this place do well, the other branch in Greenford is much better, (not sure if it’s still there) friendly staff, better service and they demonstrates a genuine care for my Jack Russell. Hope this place has got better! But only two stars in my eyes, others around are better! Especially the Greenford branch!! Not a lot of parking, it is 24/7 practice! Hope this review helps!

Took my cat on a bank holiday about an escalating infection. Very thorough examination and discussion with further medication prescribed. All excellent and caring. Pricey on bank hol but I was warned and am happy I went so all good.

My experience was not good. I called first stating that my cat damaged her tail and I explained that I probably wouldn't be afford a expensive treatment. I was advised on the call that the consultation was going to cost me some money but the treatment could be done via a charity. I booked the appointment and arrived 5 minutes early. The appointment was delayed for 15 min, but that's understandable, the thing is that no one told me "take a seat, your appointment will delay a bit, apologies". Tha doctor, young lady, very straight forward, saw my cat and told me that it would cost me a few thousand pounds to try to fix the tail or a thousand pound to remove it. I asked about the charity, as I thought they would do some kind of referral and I was told "we are a private hospital". Fair, I understand, the only issue was, the information given over the phone wasn't clear and I think that, being private, and professionals, they should at least explain better about the charities and that they don't have nothing to do with them, they only give you a print out of the ones available. I think that I was also innocent and stupid, anyway, what can I do. So the reason I am writing this review is not to tell if they are good or bad on what they do because I don't know, but it is just to make people aware, especially the working class (stuck on the "work to survive without benefits" mode), that this is not the right place to go, don't waist your time calling or going there, unless you have a few spare thousands. Go straight to for a charity, search for one and hopefully you will get the support you need if you can't afford.

Had to sadly use their out of hours service to put down my 18 year old Border Collie. This is not my usual vet but I had to plead with them to see us as they kept referring me to a vet in Barnet (3 phone calls!!!) although I’m only in South Ruislip. They knew I was arriving and were not ready even with a sedative to calm my distressed dog. Had to wait for some time, although the vet came across as being compassionate. I’ll put it quite bluntly: with what you charge for out of hours appointments I would expect you to be ready!!! Perhaps it would have been quicker to go to Barnet!!! I visited early morning of 6/3/24 so if the practice manager would like to discuss my comments you have my details.

We just moved to the area and saw the vet named Miguel out of hours, after our kitten ate some things he shouldn’t have. Miguel has such attention to detail and he’s so thorough, doesn’t skip over anything you say and always trusts your word. I love that he has a focus on understanding that pet owners know their pets better than him, the vet. So when I said my kitten is acting differently, he completely went with that, despite my kitten acting seemingly normally at the vets. Miguel provided outstanding care and a thorough check up, with information on next steps and other options. The lady at the front desk was equally lovely to talk to and gave us lots of advice on insurance.
