Initially I called the practice by phone, my enquiry about an appointment for my dog was handled by Kalem. His telephone manner was both friendly and professionalas he informed me that the practice had had a number of vets missing from that days rooster which meant the reception and office staff would be juggling the established appointments to ensure continued service. There was very little chance of Kip getting to see a vet. Kalem took ownership of my request and after explaining the situation we agreed that he should call back to let me know if he could get Kip, my dog, in within the week. Not only did Kalen call back as promised, he had managed to fit Kip in that very day. On arrival we were seen promptly and my dogs illness diagnosed and treatment prescribed; all because Kalem went above and beyond and carried out his responsibilities with alacrity. He recognised that I was very worried and really couldn't wait another day let alone a whole week. God knows how he managed to secure is a slot but he did it. An absolute hero and a credit to your team. At last, a reception staff that seem to care for their customers and want to do everything they can to help. Today it was Kalem, tomorrow it might be another member of your team, whomever it is; thanks to Kalem's actions today, I can have total faith that they will do their very best to accommodate my request; and should they be unable to, it won't be for lack of effort on their part.
