The fellows from Felgemacher did an excellent job they were friendly, quite and polite. They explained what was being done and did the work in a very timely matter.

Needed cap and tuckpointing on 50 year old chimney with original minimal cap cracked and loosening of several layers of bricks; 30 feet high needed binocs to see extent of damage. Several estimates obtained and only one guy shows up with binocs (from Felgemacher) and summarized in 15 seconds steps needed and what had to be done and cost. Due to Covid we thought maybe by September but they were able to get this relatively small job done over a weekend; cleaned up and left minimal trace with just a few crunched ferns which were densely growing all over where the scaffold went. Really polite, professional, obviously knew to bring binocs, summarize the job, estimate and complete at a fair price and did a great job (I grew up doing some masonry and know good from bad) and no significant damage on ground and really clean/neat. Would definitely recommend.

Part of one of our chimneys collapsed in our basement early on a Saturday AM. Thanks to Felgemacher's on-call service, we were able to contact them and apprise them of our situation. Lisa responded quickly and Eric followed up by coming by to scope out the situation. Eric was able to stabilize what was left of the chimney base, and he arranged for work to start Monday AM. Work was done in a timely and professional manner, and we feel a lot more secure knowing the chimney now is probably in better shape than it's been in years. A miscommunication and a billing snafu put a bit of a damper on our experience, but things were quickly set straight, and we're good to go now. Would recommend Felgemacher to anyone needing chimney/masonry work!
