TLDR; They are very expensive! $$$$
I had 17 old VHS tapes digitized into cloud files only. These were old family home movies, several of the tapes were in bad shape. The results were good - and I now have the videos saved on my computer. The only thing I am very disappointed with is the price. This project cost me over $700. I knew going into it it was going to be about $450, but after completion I was charged again for an additional $288 related to the condition of the tapes and the work they had to do to successfully digitize them. I just didn’t expect it to cost so much.
I’m a pretty tech-savvy guy so in retrospect I almost wish I bought a VHS converter and did the digitizing project myself. But if you want something like this done out of convenience and don’t mind about high pricing, then I would recommend EverPresent.
