Dr Vargas, Sue and Yolante have been amazing today. I have been so stressed about my cat and they went out of their way to help us out and we’re so informative. Thank you Goddard vets Wanstead. ♥️

Such a pleasant first experience, everyone at reception was super friendly (on a Friday evening no less) and a special mention to Sarah, one of the nurses who triaged our pup - she was so kind and helpful. A big thank you from Luna ❤️

Wouldn't advise this practice. There is little care or outreach. You never see the same vet. Multiple mistakes made in the care of my cat after he suffered a severe injury. They misdiagnosed a kidney problem causing great distress. In addition they are happy to take monthly payments for pet plan but then give no notice that they are unable to provide annual vaccine. At no point do they demonstrate empathy or compassion it is just a money machine.

CAREFUL: FLEAS! Goddard's policy is now asking all pets with fleas to attend the clinic in-person for the clinic to prescribe flea treatment (most likely spot on treatment). If your pet doesn't have fleas, you're exposing your pet to fleas by simply going there. From the reviews, it seems Goddard is in a great business-making situation for flea treatment prescriptions. It's an endless revolving door profit making machine. Needless to say, I brought my beloved cat there and returned with fleas. A disaster for the house. Don't wish it on my worst enemy. Goddard's brushed the flea infestation aside as the onus is the on pet "owner," and made more money since I returned for flea spot on treatments.

Had to take my cat there last night because she developed an infection on her incision from the surgery she had last week. I was seen very quickly and the Doctor that saw her was very friendly and competent.

If your pet needs an urgent scan please consider to bring it somewhere else as they only do scans some days per week in specific hours and scans are no guarantee due to reduced available slots. This can lead to more days of hospitalisation without a diagnosis and waste of precious time. Unfortunately, this was the case of our beloved dog who couldn't make it.

My Yorkie had hurt her leg and had been limping, brought her in for a consultation with the orthopaedic surgeon. after a cursory 5 minute check was told that she needed to have an operation at significant cost. I was not comfortable with the approach or the opinion and took my dog to another consultant vet (The Vet - Waltham Forest) for a second opinion. After an extensive check the diagnosis was completely different with the surgeon telling us that he could not justify operating and was quizzical as to why we thought she needed one at all. I would like to think that Goddard was a mis-diagnosis, however I think it was motivated by fees. The cost quoted by Goddard (circa 7k) was also twice the amount advised elsewhere. My dog is very small (3kg) and I was also concerned about the impact of a significant operation and her ability to recover. motto of the story; 1. be cautious and get a second opinion! 2. my experience of other Goddard branches (S.Woodford. Barkingside. Loughton) has been very different and almost entirely positive.

Not a customer and would never entrust your services with my dog. Shame on the lot of you. You should be shut down. Use Veteris- private vets that come to you. Probably works out cheaper and they care.
