Book an appointment to be told 30 minutes after the appointment should have started, that there’s 4/5 walk ins ahead of you. Clearly understaffed - a waste of time.

The team at Goddards showed outstanding professionalism combined with warmth and compassion on my recent (emergency) visit with 'Titch'. Triage was quick and reassuring. The consultation was thorough and the outcome was a great relief. My sincere thanks to Hannah and the entire team. 'Titch' and I are very grateful indeed. Barry Ryder

Great service made unnecessarily stressful by the terrible phone system. Our cat had an operation and getting through on the phone took 47 minutes. In total that’s a 51 minute call on my phone bill for a 4 minute conversation. The next day it took 1hr & 7 minutes to get through, then the vet (who had promised to call me, but failed to) inadvertently cut me off. That’s a 67 minute call on my phone bill. COME ON GODDARDS - you should do better than this.

Waited 9 days for an appointment. Charged £60 for a five minute consultation for our cat to get advocate. Didn't apply advocate. Charged another £84 for the advocate, which can be bought for a quarter of that on prescription. Failed to inform of the price of the advocate.

Out of hours emergency care for our dog was excellent. We are really lucky to have a 24hr vet so close by.

I just want to thank the vet and staff at Wanstead earlier today for the compassion expressed to myself and my partner over the death of our beloved cat Monty. I would highly recommend your practice. Thank you again.

Very bad experience for us and especially for our cat, first check-up with the doctor Jasper who immediately quoted us a much higher price than what we paid, zero empathy with our cat and in fact only thought of the worst case scenario by scaring and thinking only of wanting to operate on it in order to get more money out of us! We opted with them for a less invasive operation and the vet who did it (Heden) was very kind and empathetic towards us (the only worthy part of the whole experience) and advised us to give him some time and if he got worse then we would have to opt for a more invasive operation, when we finished talking to her, the vet Jasper called us back and said that it was better to proceed with the operation straight away because in their opinion it was better that way, We explained to him that his colleague had told us the opposite and he told us that we probably hadn't understood each other (which was totally untrue, also because we found out from her reports that she had put it in writing that an operation wasn't necessary for now) so we decided to take our cat home and not do anything more with them, and when we got home we realised that half his body smelled of pee and his paws were yellow as if he had peed himself more than once, and to make matters worse they had already shaved his belly ready to be operated without asking us first! Don't go to this hospital, my cat was traumatised
