This vet was awful. My dog had a swollen neck and couldn’t eat or drink. She is 10 years old and the vet barely examined her and said it could be a tumour and that it’ll cost £1500 to sedate her and examine her. She wanted a deposit there and then and said the dog may have to be put down. I said I can’t afford that and she changed her tune and said she’ll take a ‘sample’ of the bacteria and give the dog a few injections for £250. I took that option and then got a second opinion somewhere else. I went to Highams park ‘the vet’ and can’t recommend them enough! He did a thorough examination for half the price and said that it’s very unlikely that it’s a tumour! My dog is now on antibiotics and has been eating, drinking and back to her old self! This vet only care about money and pull on your heart strings to bleed your pockets dry!

The care and level of support given to our Sooty (and us!) is indescribable. Saving his life multiple times, constantly keeping us in the loop and going above and beyond to make sure he felt safe in terrible times. Putting him in a quieter area, giving him different types of blankets to hide under to keep him cool, when he refused to sleep on top of them. Endless cuddles when he was so stressed and just wanted to be held. Receptionists looked after us so well, tissues were given as was being given a space to sit in and calm down when things were rough. I genuinely cannot thank this practise, the vets, especially Rashmi and Emily, enough. You have given our precious boy a 5th or 6th chance In life and we thank you for being able to have him purring in our face every morning asking to come under the blanket for a cuddle! You are amazing.

I had to use this service as an emergency for my dog, I’ve spoken to a few of the receptionists before booking her in and I felt that most of them were lovely, warm and helpful, but I have had to speak with a French lady on a couple of occasions and I have found her to be somewhat rude and not very helpful, she makes it seem as though she is doing me a favour and I found her quite dismissive, I would like her to realise that I paid a great deal of money for the service so a little better customer service from her would go a long away, bearing in mind I received a text advising of my dogs discharge time which wasn’t convenient as I work and have to get to the practice when I called and explained this her reply was not helpful she said she could move it to8.15 but this would be classed as an emergency collection, she didn’t bother to find out how far I was coming from I had just finished work there was no way I was going to get to Wanstead by 5.45pm the text clearly stated that if the time was not convenient then call back which I did, but she acted as though I put her out, as a new patient to Goddards after this trip I don’t think I would use Wanstead again based only on the interaction that I have had more than once with the same reception, she was not nice I have a sick dog and I paid a lot of money a bit of common courtesy would have been nice

WORST vet ever!!!!! This people they don’t care about the animals at all They just care about taking the money they charge me 200£ for 2 minutes consultation and they don’t even care about my dog or to find his problem They take my moeny and send my little puppy dog home to SUFFER on his silence

HORRENDOUS. Refused to see our dog despite a thumb-sized deep wound on his paw exposing raw flesh. Even had the cheek to say "you should be pleased you don't have to bring him in". Eventually got him to a different vet who immediately took him in for surgery and gave him stitches. DO NOT USE THIS HOSPITAL.

Ernie and family received fantastic service from all the staff at Wanstead after he suffered a dog attack. Professional, caring, and informative from start to finish. Receptionist was amazing today as was the vet nurse and vets. Thank you so much for looking after us all.
