I took my dog there as an emergency in the early hours of the morning. She was in a lot of pain. The vet did Not want to see her as she was not registered there. At my insistence He begrudgingly triaged her in 3mins and came back and told me that he COULD tell me what's wrong but it would be classed as a consultation but as I'm not registered there he can't tell me. I said I have bought her here to be treated as she is in a lot of abdominal pain and I thought you was a hospital and how can you say you know what it is but can't tell me??!! But he refused. I took my dog to my vet and she had 3 days of treatment. Despite complaining about the vet they have come back with "The vet did not know what was wrong with her."So WHY did he say he did and refuse to tell me?? He put my dogs health at risk and caused a lot of distress to me. Complaining to them was a waste of time. Unforgiveable.

They fitted me in with an appointment and helped me out in an emergency. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. The vet was so professional and caring with my cat.

Hands down the best experience with a vet I've ever had.
They saw my poorly cat Nutmeg within hours of me calling, after seven other practices couldn't fit her in, and I really feel like they went the extra mile for her.
Communication was consistently great while she was an inpatient, and I could tell that they had got to know her personality and were working hard to keep her calm and encourage her to eat. My brother saw how great they were with Nutmeg and is going to start bringing his cats here too.
Every vet who handled Nutmeg was really friendly and reassuring, and they even let her stay an extra night for free when my train was cancelled and I couldn't make it back in time for her discharge appointment. The cats-only section in the waiting room is a bonus too. I now have my best friend back to normal and I can't thank the staff at Goddards enough.

The vet was so quick and effective - they gave great care and fixed my paw. They also gave me chicken treats. And it was out of hours. Feeling better now and very grateful to the team. Thank you!!!!

I had to just show up - having never been to them before but they were the only emergency vet in the area - as I had an emergency with my cat and they were immediately welcoming, took him straight into triage, got me set up on the system, and I'd been seen by the vet within 45 minutes. I'm so grateful. Would highly recommend!

They charge a fortune for unnecessary treatments (another vet said my dog’s teeth was fine but Goddard insisted he needed toothpaste). Then, when you try call them to make a payment, SEVERAL times, they don’t answer...and then they send you threatening letters about Debt Collectors! AND add on a £40 surcharge! Horrible people. *UPDATE* - I have finally been able to make the payment (someone eventually called me back) and they have removed the £40 surcharge. This I have updated my review to 2 stars not 1 star. Unfortunately, the damage is already done and I won’t be using them again.

!!! The Worse Vet!!!
Only care about the money, absolutely no interest on give a decent guess. I went because my friend were so bad, the first thing they talk was about money. They inject him some medicines, 20 min later he died. No compassion, no empathy, nothing. Just about money, the money I have to pay for they lie to me, the money they do not deserve for they zero effort. And of course, more money for the cremation.
Avoid this vet if your little friend is on an emergency, they do not care if life or not. I couldn't have a worse experience with these people.

Awful place. Due negligence nearly resulted in the loss of our dog. Staff blamed that they couldn’t professionally deal with pets because they were Under staffed, yet they still accepted more. Non communicative and Rude receptionists. Let our dog go early, with an infected leg, who was visibly in terrible pain. This resulted in him having to go back. Lots of processes weren’t done first time around, only when they realised that we had complained did they follow protocols regarding oral medicine after IV, cone, dressing the wound, etc. Very distressing And horrible experience. Total disgrace.
