Brought my dog in for emergency treatment as he had a huge lump on his leg that had appeared overnight unexpectedly. Was NOT told on the phone that there wold be a premium fee just for seeing a vet. But okay, this was on Boxing Day so fair enough - I will swallow that. I asked if it could be paid through insurance as I didn't have the money at that precise moment, and the receptionists words were "yes I don't see why not". But when it came to making payment (treatment would be ongoing) I said that I would be adding it to the bill and will pay through insurance as we discussed earlier. "No, sorry we need payment today" is the response I got. She was very short and unsympathetic - not very friendly at all when I reminded her of our previous discussion. Again, like talking to a stony faced brick wall "no you have to pay today". I think Goddard need to urgently retrain their receptionist staff; from not being told of the fee to being told yes I can put it on insurance to no we need the money now! Extremely bad service from the receptionists, really not happy at all.
The vet on the other hand was great, your support staff are letting you down!!!
