Unprofessional Shambles I went to the Wanstead for a professional service. This is far from what i received on more than one occasion whilst my dog was undergoing treatment. Firstly the rude and uncaring front of house really could do with going on a compassion course. They are cold, miserable and unwelcoming. Asking for a receipt was a crime. My dog was booked in for surgery today no information prior to the visit advised me she would require overnight stay or that the recovery would take 12 weeks. A bit of a shock when you are expecting your pet home that night. I was expecting a call following my dogs surgery which was performed at 1.30 today its now 7.30 pm and 5 phone calls later no update. Now the surgeons gone home and still no update. On my 6th call just made another 45 minutes after call 5 I'm told she's ok. I was expecting a little more information than that. So what was done today? I will get a vet to call you in the morning. Seriously? I want to know what's been done if you don't mind. A vet eventually called me back with a brief update at 8.30pm. 11 and half hours after I took her in that day. This is shocking service Goddards.

I recently visited the vet for a follow up appointment following an operation my dog had at another vets. My appointment was at 5:15 but I didn't get seen until 5:45. These things happen but it would have been nice if one of the three receptionist acknowledged the fact. Once seen the vet performed a check on my dog which took all of three minutes and this cost me £45. He also noticed a slight skin compliant on my and gave me a tube of gel for it. once at the reception desk to pay I found the gel was going to cost £30 so refused it, I then checked online to find the average price for the same size tube of gel is £9, quite a difference. Prior to this I took my dog in because he was having a lot of problems moving. He saw a vet who misdiagnosed his symptoms as a stomach issue. The meeting and medicine cost somewhere in the region of £500. A lot of money for a misdiagnosis. As my dog still had the complaint I returned and the vet he saw the second time correctly diagnosed my dogs spinal issue just from looking at the way he walked - The first vet didn't even look at this, she just squeezed his stomach. I understand that mistakes can happen but when a full check of my dogs condition didn't happen and I had to pay out £500 for basically nothing it leaves a very bad taste in your mouth. Over the last couple of months I've had to pay over £2000 to the vet and the more I visit the more I get the feeling that the people working here are equally trained in the art of selling as they are as vets.

Not very pleased I have been taking my cat there since he was a kitten and everything seem fine, very expensive but fine. But the one time my puppy is rushed in on a sunday for an emergency, I was obviously very upset and i’m not asking the nurse to cry along with me but at least seem like she cares and answering with more then a one word answer could help too.

I have been to this vets a few times now. The emergency vet for one of my cats cystitis were great and I could not be happier about having my cat recovered last year. Recently I went into the vets again for an infection from a cat fight. The vet was not really that helpful in regards to information about what we could do apart from bringing him back the next day so they can put him under anaesthetic and have the puss liquid removed as it might be infected. He originally said he will try and get all the puss out so we don't have to come back the next day. He easily gave up and told us to go back after 5 mins. I had to question him how much this will cost.. Then he told me £500, just to removed puss from a swollen area.. That consultation and injection already cost £75 that day. I went to another vets nearby and they treated him with a consultation for £18 total!! That's a massive difference in price... Also they gave me more information on what I could do. I feel the service from Goddard is not as well as it could be and money seems to be priority over discussion of the cats wellbeing.

good practice, clean and well equipped. pricey weekend and bank holiday assistance, but I guess this is standard in London.

We turned up after midnight as our Cocker had managed to eat the contents of a bin bag containing chocolate brownies. The vet was absolutely fantastic, everything was sorted within half an hour - she was very caring and reassuring.

What a brilliant hospital. Dani the on call vet worked throughout the night to help my elderly golden retrevier. Both Dani and Helen (Nurse) are brilliant. Without the dedication of all the hospital staff my dog may well have died. I can't thank them enough. I would now never go anywhere else.

I cannot praise this place enough. I had to take my beloved cat there yesterday for her final journey and they arranged a private room for us to wait in so she was not disturbed by the other animals and obviously because I was in pieces. The receptionist was wonderful and the vet who saw us was kind, compassionate and loving to my Tilly. She gave us time to spend with her and was gentle and sweet with her and Tilly's passing was peaceful and loving. I have been here before a few times for various animal emergencies and they have always been wonderful.
