Appreciate the thorough treatment and care received by my cat. The nurse who carried out a post-op check up, was, very amiable and professional. The receptionist staff are also brilliant and very helpful.

Thank you to Emily and the staff at Goddard for making our send off with our girl so easy and taking the time to explain all of our options and allowing us to process everything that was being said. The condolence cards we received were so beautiful and we could not be more grateful for taking care of us and our baby in such a compassionate, empathetic manner.

Called for my cats injury the emergency line that is connected to my vet and told that he’ll only be taken if the emergency is critical ie been hit by a car or bleeding and won’t be seen immediately but if I go to them I’ll have to wait for a couple hours, what type of emergency vet is this. Don’t bother calling.

Looked after our boy as best they could and kept us informed every step of the way. On leaving they gave us really informed and detailed explanations of further treatment and put together (and explained well) all “out patient procedures”
Great they have big areas in the waiting rooms for cats and dogs to be separated

Really expensive if you take your pet out of hours as an emergency but so convenient that it is open 24 hours. It’s worth paying just for the peace of mind that your pet isn’t suffering for longer than it has to. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is parking on site which is also really useful. Our family have been a Goddard’s client for over 30 years, would definitely recommend.

I honestly cannot comprehend how an out if hours consultation can cost almost 5 times the cost of a routine trip to the vet. The receptionist seemed genuinely embarrassed. You expect to pay more, but £240 to stand your pet on the counter..... disgusting!
Business above care for animals, unfortunately, no wonder animal shelters are over run.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. No compassion, no professionalism, waited for 4 hours to be seen by an "assistant" who didn't know what to do but saying sorry the veterinary is busy. Left disappointed and after a couple of weeks received a 280£ surprise invoice for nothing. Just a rip off. Stay away
