After several quotes we decided on Basement Builders and my wife and I are sure glad we did. It wasn't a large space but they worked with us to make the layout work for what we needed and always made us feel like we were the most important client they had. I would for sure recommend them.

We had done a lot of repair/construction projects in the last few years and wanted a turnkey seamless process without the hassle of doing it ourselves or finding a contractor to do it. We met with basement builders and based on the initial meeting it was clear that they were incredibly thorough and made the whole process very easy on the homeowner.
The building process was fast, on time, and throughout they were very responsive with any and all concerns that came up.
We put in a custom bar, built-ins among other work and they all look perfect. No imperfections anywhere. The work is so clean you couldn't find a mark anywhere it shouldn't be. Follow up afterwards was also great.
I would highly recommend Basement Builders to anybody looking to complete a basement.

Don, Brian and the Basement Builders team did a great job of renovating our kitchen and main bathroom. We used them in 2019 to renovate our basement, and reached out to them again for the kitchen and bathroom. Everything was made easy. They are always very responsive from initial quote right the way through to touching up things right at the end of the job. The renovation was about as painless as it could be. They kept us informed on schedule and all the contractors they used are excellent. Things went really well all while dealing with the pandemic as well. We would use them again and recommend them highly… although hopefully that’s all our Reno’s for a while.

I had a basement developed professionally 10 years ago so I was excited to see what has changed since then. I interviewed several companies and what set Basement Builders apart from the others right away was the speed of service. I received a call back right away (within a day) and my appointment in a week. Don came over and was able to take my list and right then and there turn it into a floorplan incorporating everything my wife and I wanted. Seriously I had drawings right then to look at! I was impressed and then blown further away when I had a quote within the hour...! This was extremely quick but still did my painful due diligence and waited for the other quotes. I won't speak negatively towards the other companies but some had quotes within a day or two and some within a week or two and one never arrived. The process was interactive and comfortable, the first day on the job we were shown the layout chalked onto the floor allowing for a further visual which were were then able to make a few minor adjustments. In a separate meeting the electrical was decided. I loved that it wasn't just off a pre-planned drawing like my other basement was because I could put plugs according to my furniture meaning no extension cords! The End result was better than expected and I'm sure you will agree when you see the pictures on the website... My wife and I cannot thank you enough!

We hired The Basement Builders to build a garage for us last fall. Never having hired a contractor before, they were very helpful with explaining the process and answering any questions they had. The garage itself was very well done and we love it. Would highly recommend!

These days it’s hard to find a renovation company that is reliable and provides accurate quotes. These guys were in the mid range for the job estimate among 2 other companies but by far offered the most detailed estimate of all the competition. My wife especially liked the interactive estimate experience allowing us to play around with options in real time and see the cost reflected immediately rather than needing to reach out to them with every possible change we were thinking about.
Job was completed on time and the only hiccup was some custom faucets we ordered that had been on backorder from the manufacture. Our project manager Ben responded quickly with alternate options that met my wife’s requirements which got us back on track.
I recommend these guys to all my friends and wouldn’t try anyone else.

The basement builders finished our basement, and from the very beginning I noticed a high attention to detail. I knew exactly what I was getting from the very beginning and there were no surprises. The finished job was better than expected. I've had a few renovations and built a house recently in the past with other companies, and this was a noticeably better experience. Little things come up (as they always would in a large project - we have an older house), and they dealt with the issues quickly and they definitely know what they are doing. Would recommend them!

We had our basement done with Basement builders. From estimate to completion the whole process was great. We love the finished product. Every trade was respectful of our home and privacy. They cleaned up each night and sometimes never even knew they were here. Good selection of choices for upgrades and you know the price exactly. There is also options if you want to customize. I would highly recommend BB.

We had been talking about finishing out basement for a few years before we selected Basement Builders due to various positive reviews and their expertise in basement development around town. Looking at their website gave us a really good idea of the breadth of projects that they have executed on and provided lots of ideas we could incorporate into our design.
Ben and Don looked after our project and we were extremely pleased with the service and transparency – they were always very quick to respond to phone/text messages and had no issues with myself being a bit more involved in the process. They did a very good job setting expectations for schedule and cost, including preparing for any upgrades one might choose. The online selections process makes it very seamless to build the basement with ultimate transparency on cost. The work itself went very smoothly and I can really tell that they take a significant amount of pride in their quality of work and customer service. Trades were all highly respectful of our home and very talented in what they do for a living. I really appreciated their patience in working to make my dream a reality with the installation of a golf simulator, which no doubt required them to go above and beyond to work with the vendor and installation team to make it perfect.
We are extremely happy with our new basement and looking forward to enjoying the space for many years to come. Couldn’t have imagined a better outcome.
